About this collection
If you are looking for a place to learn, my Ghaziabad studio is where I run small, focused batches of 4 to 6 students. It is not about finishing a painting quickly; it is about learning how to see, understanding water control, and building a foundation that lasts. Let’s stop copying trends and start building your own unique voice.
Why I am picky about originality
Art is not just about the final image on your wall. It is about the process. Lately, I have seen too much copying in the art world, and that is a dead end. If you want to grow as an artist, you have to create original work, even if it starts as a simple, messy sketch. My studio, whether online or in-person in Ghaziabad, is a place where we strip away the 'business' of art and get back to the basics.
My teaching philosophy
I focus heavily on fundamentals. Whether we are doing pencil portraits or watercolor landscapes, we start with the anatomy of the subject or the perspective of the scene. I do not just teach you to replicate what I do; I show you how to manage your brush, your palette, and your thought process. My goal is for you to walk away with the ability to look at a subject and figure out how to paint it yourself, not just follow a tutorial step-by-step.
Where we learn
- Studio Classes (Ghaziabad): These are intimate, foundation-focused sessions. We work with pencil, charcoal, and watercolors, specifically designed for those who are serious about their craft or prepping for BFA admissions.
- Online Courses: My weekend live sessions cover everything from landscapes to figure studies. We use Zoom, I paint live so you see the brush strokes in real-time, and you get recordings to revisit later.
- Workshops: I travel across India for plein air sessions and intensives. We meet in person, share the struggle of painting on location, and learn from each other.
