Our Studio's Creative Journey & Student Work
A look into our Vashi studio, where we teach students of all ages how to turn observation into art with hands-on, direct guidance.
We believe art isn't confined to four walls. Here, our drawing grade exam students are taking their skills outdoors for a live sketching session, learning to capture the world around them. This is learning in action.
It's an incredible moment of pride for us and our student. This is the result of our portrait sketching course, where this talented 13 year old artist brought his own self portrait to life with pencil and paper.
Art is a language that everyone can speak. We are so proud of our student Sahil, who is deaf, capturing the world around him during a live sketching session. Our classes are an inclusive space for anyone with a passion to learn.
"Don't draw stick figures, draw directly!" This is a glimpse into our teaching philosophy during an outdoor sketching session. We encourage students to observe and capture movement and proportions, building their confidence to draw from life.
Focus and dedication in our Vashi studio. A student from our elementary exam batch is practicing metal painting techniques, learning how to render light and reflection on a curved surface to make the object look three dimensional.
Look at that proud smile. One of our youngest artists shows off her work from a foundational drawing class where she learned about color, shape, and composition by painting simple objects like mugs.
For over 26 years, we have been a home for creativity. This collage captures the variety of what we do, from kids' classes and adult workshops to specialized art forms, all celebrating the artistic journey of our students.
We love hearing from our students. This testimonial comes from a student who has been with us since the 6th grade, highlighting our friendly teaching style and the wide variety of courses we offer.
About Featured
We do not teach shortcuts or stick figures here. Whether you are prepping for a state drawing exam or just wanting to finally master portrait shading, our method is simple: direct observation. We show you how to spot light and shadow on the page, correcting your pencil grip and proportions in real-time so your art actually starts to look the way you intend it to.
Our studio in Vashi is built around one simple truth: art is a skill that can be learned, not a mystery. For over 26 years, my mother Swati and I have been teaching students—from children finding their pencil grip to adults preparing for Grade Exams—how to see the world like an artist.
We keep our batches small, usually 6 to 8 students, so we can walk around the room and actually look at your work. You won't hear us give empty praise just to keep you happy. You will hear us say, 'Idhar ka body kidhar hai? Bada banao!' (Where is the body? Make it bigger!). We focus on the fundamentals: pencil grip, geometric shapes, and realistic shading.
This space is for people who are serious about getting better, even if you are just starting out. Our Elementary and Intermediate exam batches are rigorous, focusing on memory drawing and still life, while our portrait courses dig into the anatomy of facial features. If you are tired of generic classes that do not give real feedback, come visit us in Vashi. We are here to help you get your basics right so you can eventually create your own work.
Renuka's Art Zone
I'm Renuka, and I run this studio with my mother, Swati, who has been mentoring artists for over 26 years. We believe art is a conversation, not just a class, which is why we keep our batches small to give you the honest feedback you need to actually improve.
