About Art Workshops and Classes
Why I Teach Art
Art means more to me than just skill - it’s about curiosity, honesty, and finding your own style. These days, art toh bachi nahi hai, business zyada chal raha hai (feels like there's more business than art) but I’m trying to bring back the joy and connection with what we create. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and breaking through whatever holds you back.
Ways We Can Learn Together
- Live Online Art Lessons: I do interactive online classes with demos, covering everything from watercolor painting classes to figure drawing workshops. Different batches run for all levels, including folks wanting to get seriously good.
- In-Person Workshops: I travel across India (Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur, and more) for 2-3 day workshops. Sometimes we even step outdoors for plein air art sessions - painting at real locations together.
- Studio Classes: Small group sessions at my studio, focused on real basics - live sketching with models, building solid drawing foundations, and developing your own practice.
What You’ll Learn
- Mediums: Watercolor, sketching, and illustration (mixing pen, ink, and washes)
- Subjects: Landscapes, cityscapes, figure and portrait work with live models, still life, and creative composition
- Every session is about technique, but also about helping you find your own way of seeing and expressing.
Be Original, Always
One thing - please don’t use someone else’s work for your portfolio or competitions. Yeh bahut hi zyada galat baat hai (That’s just not right). My aim is to help you build your own voice, step by step. Let’s focus on honest, original art that actually means something to you.

My Story
Hi, I’m Shashank. Art is everything for me—teaching, learning, sharing. I’ve run workshops everywhere from IIT BHU to Sunder Nursery, and started art communities and an art materials business. Life ka maza toh travel mein hai (the real fun is in travel), like my Kerala to Munnar bike trip—nature always sneaks into my sketchbook. But yaar, art world can be tricky—scams, copying, sab hota hai (everything happens). I just want my students to find their own voice, asli wala (the real one).
My Work
Art Commissions & Workshops - I do pencil portrait commissions, watercolor paintings, and host watercolor landscape workshops in cities and online.
How My Classes Go - We dive into basics—live art demo classes, figure drawing, landscapes, market scenes. I show techniques, not just theory.
Advice for Artists - Ek baat suno (listen up): Don’t copy. Submit your own work, check if competitions are legit. Art is about being real.
My Art Style - Mostly watercolors and pencil, inspired by Indian daily life—markets, villages, travel moments, portraits with a story.
