About Student Voices: Hear Their Stories
When you join, you will notice we do not let you copy photos. Instead, we push you to engage with the medium until you understand it. Whether you are a graphic designer stuck in a rigid workflow or a complete beginner, my role is to dismantle the idea of a 'right way' to paint so you can discover your own way.
Many adults come here feeling that they missed their chance to learn art. You might have watched hours of online tutorials yet still feel unable to finish a single canvas. That frustration ends here. We keep our batches small to ensure that when you face a technical roadblock, I am right there to help you troubleshoot your brushwork or color mixing.
Portfolio students often arrive nervous about their lack of knowledge regarding complex materials. They quickly learn that it is the thinking process that matters, not the expensive kit. We document your development over the term so that by the time you apply to design schools, you have a body of work that shows how your mind works, not just what your hands produced.
