I believe art is about finding your own voice, not just copying techniques. Explore my watercolor and sketching portfolio and see how we can start your creative journey together.

This is a watercolor portrait I created during a demonstration at my Bangalore workshop. Capturing the spirit and story in a person's face is one of the most rewarding aspects of art, and it's a key focus in my portraiture classes.

Watch how a simple pencil sketch transforms into a vibrant watercolor landscape. In my classes, I break down this entire process, from the initial drawing and applying the first light washes to adding the final details that bring the scene to life.

Here is a look at a live portrait sketching session. I guide my students through understanding facial structure, capturing likeness, and using expressive lines to create a compelling pencil portrait from a live model.

The best part of any workshop is sharing the final result with enthusiastic students. This was at my Bangalore workshop, where we explored techniques for creating expressive watercolor figures and portraits together.

This piece captures the lively atmosphere of the ghats in Varanasi, combining fine pen lines with loose watercolor washes. My illustration workshops focus on this technique to create detailed yet expressive cityscapes and scenes from daily life.

Sketching outdoors with the Urban Sketchers Delhi group at Sundar Nursery. My plein air workshops are all about learning to observe and quickly capture the essence of a location, from its architecture to the people who inhabit it.

A figure sketch focusing on posture, weight, and the texture of fabric. In my figure drawing classes, we practice capturing the human form with confident, descriptive lines to make our sketches feel dynamic and real.

A watercolor cityscape of a clock tower, focusing on architectural details, light, and shadow. Learning to paint buildings and urban scenes is a core part of my advanced watercolor courses.

I believe it's important to respect both the art and the artist. My goal as a teacher is to help you find your own voice and create original work, because that is where the true satisfaction of being an artist lies.

A wonderful group of students from my watercolor workshop at IIT BHU. It's always an incredible experience to connect with so many creative minds and guide them on their artistic journey.

About Featured

Every session I conduct, whether it's a weekend workshop or a live online course, is focused on 'learning by doing.' I don't just lecture on theory; I paint live so you can see my brush control and palette management in real-time. If you're joining a class, be ready to pick up your brush and start sketching or painting along with me right from the first day.
