About Meditation, Pranayama & Stress Relief
In my sessions, we focus on Nadi Shodhana and guided breathwork to help your nervous system actually reset after a long day in the city. It is not about emptying your mind or reaching some unattainable state, but learning to observe your thoughts so you can finally find some peace, regardless of how chaotic your work day has been.
Finding Stillness in a Busy City
When we talk about stress relief, most people look for a quick fix. My approach to meditation and pranayama is different. We work on the foundation that 'Sthirasukham asanam'—the posture should be steady and comfortable. If your body is restless, your mind will never settle.
What We Practice
- Pranayama (Breathwork): We start with techniques like Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing) and Kapalbhati. These aren't just exercises; they are tools to balance your left and right brain hemispheres and calm your nervous system.
- Guided Meditation: In our studio sessions in Sagar Pur, we dim the lights and focus on observational techniques. Whether you are a beginner struggling to sit still for five minutes or someone looking for deeper introspective practice, the group energy helps you stay committed.
- Savasana Integration: Every session ends with a deep relaxation pose. This is where the physical work integrates with the mental, allowing you to walk out of the studio feeling lighter.
How You Can Join
- In-Studio: Join our group batches in Sagar Pur. It is a shared space where the collective focus makes it easier to practice silence.
- Home Training: If you prefer privacy, I travel across West and South West Delhi for 1-on-1 sessions. We can specifically dedicate time to therapeutic goals like anxiety reduction or sleep improvement.
- Online: For those who cannot commute, our live sessions on Zoom focus heavily on breathwork and mental relaxation, designed specifically for your home environment.
Yoga is a practice of 'Prayas' (effort). It does not happen in one day. But if you show up, the breath will lead you to the peace you are looking for.
