About Beyond Asana: Pranayama, Meditation & Yogic Wisdom

When we practice Pranayama, it is not just about inhaling and exhaling. We teach a 1:2 ratio—for example, if you inhale for 5 counts, you must exhale for 10. This simple focus on the exhale helps calm the nervous system and manage stress immediately, rather than just forcing the body through poses.

Yoga is not just about flexibility; it is about managing your vital life force. In these sessions, we focus on Pranayama—breathing techniques designed to balance your mind. Whether it is using Bhastrika to boost your internal fire during Delhi winters or practicing Anulom Vilom to address anger and anxiety, every technique has a specific purpose.

We believe in the power of the exhale. It is where you let go of negative thoughts. We also include Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep), which is highly effective for fatigue and improving focus. The goal is to reach a state where you are mentally and physically strong, off the mat as well as on it.

If you are struggling with daily stress or just need a mental reset, we invite you to join our sessions in Dwarka or Vikaspuri, or hop onto our live online stream. We keep our groups small so you get actual attention, not just a video feed. Yog se he hoga.
