About Beyond Asana: Pranayama, Meditation & Yogic Wisdom

When we practice Pranayama, it is not just about inhaling and exhaling. We teach a 1:2 ratio—for example, if you inhale for 5 counts, you must exhale for 10. This simple focus on the exhale helps calm the nervous system and manage stress immediately, rather than just forcing the body through poses.
