Obstacle Course Race Training & Functional Fitness

See what it takes to conquer the Devil’s Circuit. This is how we build grit, speed, and raw power right here in Namma Bengaluru.

This is what I mean by building real strength. It’s not just about lifting weights. We use sledgehammers and tires to build the raw, full-body power you need to conquer any obstacle. This kind of training strengthens everything from your grip to your core and prepares you for the uncomfortable, because that’s OCR.

Grip strength can make or break your race. Here I am on the monkey bars at the Devil's Circuit, one of the toughest obstacles that requires upper body and grip endurance. We train specifically for this, using rings, bars, and heavy carries until your hands are ready for anything.

An obstacle course race is about explosive power and agility. This is me clearing a wall jump at the Maruti Suzuki Devil's Circuit. We practice these movements, focusing on technique and efficiency, so you can vault over walls without wasting energy.

Endurance starts here, in the sand. Training on unstable surfaces like sand builds incredible strength in your ankles, calves, and stabilizer muscles. It makes running on a flat track feel easy and prepares your legs for the unpredictable terrain of a race.

We also train for the weird stuff. Animal flow is a ground based, bodyweight movement that improves mobility, strength, and coordination. It keeps you agile and helps you move efficiently when you have to crawl, climb, or navigate awkward spaces on the course.

At the core of every OCR athlete is a runner. We hit the track at Kanteerava Stadium for focused speed work. I break down your running form to build speed and efficiency, ensuring you have the endurance to last the entire race, from start to finish.

The goal is not just to finish, but to finish strong. This was after securing 2nd place at the Jarakabande Eco Ultra 10km run. I train my clients with the same winning mindset, whether they are aiming for the podium or just to beat their personal best.

About this collection

Our sessions bridge the gap between gym work and race conditions. We mix the brutal reality of tire flips and monkey bars with precise track work at Kanteerava or Coles Park, ensuring you are not just fit, but race-ready for events like the Devil's Circuit or Wild Warrior.

OCR is not just about running; it is a full-body test. You need the aerobic engine of a sprinter and the upper body strength of a gymnast. My training approach breaks this down into three core pillars:

Building the Foundation

We don't rely on machines. We use sledgehammers, tractor tires, and sandbags to build functional strength that actually translates to the course. If you have to carry a heavy load or flip a tire in the mud, you need to know how to do it without burning out.

Mastering the Obstacles

Whether it's monkey bars, pipe traverses, or wall jumps, these are skills, not just tests of strength. I teach the technique behind every move. You learn how to lock your feet on a rope climb and how to move through animal flow patterns to keep your joints healthy and mobile.

The Track Advantage

Most people train inside a box. We hit the track to build true endurance. We use sand pits for ankle stability and stadium stairs for explosive leg power. By the time you get to a 5km race, the course feels familiar, not intimidating.

Training Logistics

We keep the groups small so everyone gets coaching attention. We operate across a hybrid setup, splitting time between the indoor box at Kammanahalli and the outdoor tracks at Kanteerava Stadium and Coles Park. Whether you are a beginner looking to finish your first 5km or an athlete chasing the podium, we scale the intensity to your current level. Remember, Nammalala ethai jayikave mudiyatho, adha jayikirathuku muyarchi panromla—we are here to win what seems impossible.
