Group OCR & Functional Training
Training Logistics
- Frequency: 4-5 guided sessions per week in a small-to-medium group cohort.
- Duration: 60 to 90 minutes per session covering Warmup, Skill, WOD, and Cool down.
- Locations: Hybrid training across the Kammanahalli indoor box and outdoor tracks at Kanteerava or Cole's Park.
Technical Skill Work
- Climbing & Scaling: Instruction on rope climb foot-locks and wall scaling mechanics (warped wall).
- Obstacle Efficiency: Drills for barbed wire crawls (army/bear style) and pipe traverses using DIY setups.
- Heavy Implements: Technique for tractor tire flips, sledgehammer strikes, and heavy rope training.
Conditioning & Mobility
- Track Work: Dedicated sessions for sprint mechanics, sand pit agility, and stadium stair endurance.
- Mobility Flows: Integration of Animal Flow (Crab, Scorpion) for joint mobility and post-workout recovery drills.
1-on-1 Elite Race Prep
Personalized Coaching
- Sessions: 12 one-on-one sessions per month (approx. 3 per week), 60 minutes each.
- Biomechanical Audit: Video-assisted analysis of running gait and jumping mechanics to identify inefficiencies.
- Advanced Spotting: Physical assistance for high-risk moves like muscle-up progressions or ring traverses.
Nutrition & Monitoring
- Diet Plans: Macro-calculated nutrition charts (Veg/Non-Veg) tailored to metabolic rate and training volume.
- Tracking: Weekly monitoring of weight, inch loss, and body composition to adjust intake.
- Strategy: Guidance on race-day hydration, energy gels, and recovery supplementation.
Custom Programming
- Weakness Targeting: Specific drills to address personal limitations, such as grip strength or aerobic capacity.
- Race Strategy: Creation of a specific pacing plan for running segments and energy conservation on obstacles.

My Approach
Crawling, bleeding, pain - all okay. Quitting? Not allowed. That’s my only rule. I’m Shantha, an athlete from Team India. This prep is about building real discipline and a fighter’s mindset for obstacle course races like Devil’s Circuit and Wild Warriors. Nammalala ethai jayikave mudiyatho, adha jayikirathuku muyarchi panromla (We try to win what's tough, not just what's easy) - that's what I believe in.
How We Train
- Endurance is where we start. We run on all kinds of surfaces - tracks, mud, hills, parks. I’ll push your running form and speed so you handle anything the race throws at you.
- Strength? We don’t just lift weights. Tyre flips, sledgehammers, Farmer’s Carries, and sandbags. You’ll get used to being uncomfortable, because that’s OCR.
- Obstacle race grip strength training is a must. Monkey bars, rings, heavy carries - your hands and arms will thank (or curse) me later.
- We don’t just build fitness. We train for the weird stuff: wall jumps, net climbs, crawling through mud, balancing on beams, and even animal flow moves to keep you mobile.

We mix it up - indoors at Athletes Revolution, sometimes outdoors at Kanteerava or Cole’s Park. Namma Bengaluru is our playground.
