Outdoor Track & Field Group
Schedule & Access
- 3 to 5 morning sessions per week.
- Timings typically 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
- 90 minutes per session in a mixed group of 10-15.
Athletic Drills
- Speed ladders and mini-hurdles for foot turnover.
- Dynamic warm-ups including A-skips and hip mobility.
- Sand pit training for ankle stability.
Endurance Work
- High volume intervals like 400m repeats.
- Explosive plyometric stair climbing on stadium galleries.
Note
- Excludes Kanteerava Stadium entry pass (approx INR 200 to 500 per month paid directly to authority).
Hybrid Track & Strength Program
Track Components
- Includes full access to 3 to 5 weekly outdoor track sessions.
- Covers all speed drills, intervals, and stair work.
Indoor Strength Training
- Location: Athletes Revolution center, Kammanahalli.
- Olympic lifting fundamentals using barbells and dumbbells.
- Heavy tire flips for posterior chain strength.
- Battle ropes and advanced calisthenics (pull-ups, box jumps).
Progress Tracking
- Monthly assessment of sprint timings.
- Tracking of strength personal bests.
- Dedicated mobility routines for injury prevention.
Elite 1-on-1 Competition Prep
Personalized Strategy
- 1-on-1 attention geared towards specific event dates.
- Custom training calendar (Periodization) for peaking.
- Race day pacing strategies for specific distances.
Advanced Technique
- Block start mechanics and reaction time training.
- Frame-by-frame video analysis of running gait.
- Technical training for obstacle courses if required.

About Athletics & Sprint Coaching
My Approach
Discipline has shaped me as a sprinter and a coach. I keep telling my athletes, nammalala ethai jayikave mudiyatho, adha jayikirathuku try pannanum (we have to try for what seems impossible to win). It's not just about showing up, it's about showing grit every single session.
Who I Coach
- Kids (from 6 years), adults wanting better running form, or anyone with fire for improvement.
- Competitive folks working on 100m, 200m, 400m race training, or track events like long jump.
- Beginners, returnees, or those just chasing a personal best.
How We Train
- Track sprint performance: We drill explosive start technique, fix running form, and run race-specific intervals (100m, 150m, 200m) on synthetic tracks.
- Long jump coaching: Real runway, real sand pit, focusing on run-up, takeoff, and landing.
- Strength sessions: Mix of bodyweight, plyometrics, and weight training. Muscle-cleans, presses, box jumps—stuff that truly builds power.
- Speed endurance workouts: Lots of interval training, agility ladder drills, and mini-hurdles for footwork and stamina.
Beyond the Track
- Sand pit work for strong feet and ankles.
- Mobility and proper stretching every session.
- We train at Kanteerava Stadium and my gym, Athletes Revolution, in namma Bengaluru.
