Outdoor Fitness Training and Athletic Adventures

Fitness isn't restricted to four walls. It’s the mountains, the beach, and every terrain in between. This is where I push my physical and mental limits outside the gym.

A trek to Parvathamalai for Maha Shivaratri. This was a challenging 4500-foot vertical climb that tested our endurance and spirit, offering breathtaking views as a reward.

Kicking off the new year with an outdoor hike and training session with the team. A great start to a year of new adventures.

More from our New Year's hike. We hope every year is filled with new fortunes and new adventures like this.

Spiderman crawling pushups on the beach. The sand adds an extra layer of instability, making this a great workout for upper body and core strength.

About this collection

I don't just train inside the gym box. Whether it’s vertical mountain climbs like Parvathamalai or unstable beach sand for functional strength, my outdoor sessions are designed to test your mental grit. You won’t find fancy machines out here, just natural terrain, unpredictable elements, and the kind of endurance that only comes from breaking your comfort zone.

Training Beyond the Gym

True athletic potential isn't built solely on a treadmill or a squat rack. It is forged through exposure to the elements. My training philosophy at Athletes Revolution is to prepare you for life, not just for a gym session. This means taking our workouts to the streets, the trails, and the shore.

Why Outdoor Conditioning?

  • Unpredictable Terrain: Running on tracks at Kanteerava Stadium is essential for speed, but training on uneven forest trails or sandy beaches forces your stabilizer muscles to work harder. It improves balance, proprioception, and core stability in ways indoor equipment cannot replicate.
  • Mental Toughness: There is no air conditioning on a mountain trek. Climbing a 4,500-foot vertical, like our expeditions to Parvathamalai, teaches you to manage fatigue, stay calm under pressure, and push past the point where your mind tells you to stop.
  • Functional Strength: We use what is available. Sandbag carries on the beach, tyre flips in open parks, and bodyweight movements like the Spiderman crawl engage more muscle groups simultaneously. It turns your body into a singular, efficient tool.

Our Playground

We don't stick to one spot. While our indoor box in Kammanahalli is where we drill the technical movements, Namma Bengaluru serves as our primary training ground. From the early morning track sessions at Coles Park to weekend obstacle course simulations in the wild, every location is chosen to add a specific challenge to your regimen. If you are tired of the same routine and ready to see what your body is truly capable of, this is where we start.
