Don't miss the twist in Fallen Angel pose. It's a beautiful and deep expression of a twisting arm balance.

About Additional Poses & Flows

Most people focus entirely on holding the pose, but the real work happens in the transition. In these flows, we look at the 'in-between'—that shaky, controlled moment between Crow and Chaturanga. It is not about nailing the shape perfectly on day one; it is about learning where your weight shifts when you move from a fold to a flight.

Finding Flow in the Transitions

Advanced asanas are often the ones that get all the attention on social media, but they are only one part of the practice. The strength and mobility required to move between poses—like transitioning from a Crow into a Chaturanga or finding a clean entry into a Chinstand—is where you actually build functional power. We focus on the 'how' rather than just the 'what'. By breaking these movements down into manageable drills, we remove the fear that usually keeps people from trying inversions or advanced arm balances.

What We Work On

  • Biomechanics of Movement: We look at how to distribute your weight, where to place your gaze (drishti), and how to engage your core so your wrists and shoulders aren't taking all the pressure.
  • Safe Entries and Exits: A huge part of my teaching is learning how to fall safely. When you know you are safe if you lose your balance, your practice becomes significantly more playful and courageous.
  • Tailored Progression: Whether you are in Bengaluru, Mumbai, or joining from anywhere else, the online environment allows us to focus on the details. We use props like blocks and straps to make space for the body to open up, regardless of how tight you might feel.

Is This For You?

If you have a regular vinyasa practice and are looking to move past the basics, this is for you. I do not expect you to be perfectly bendy or strong. I expect you to be willing to wobble. We are looking for progress, not perfection. If you can show up with an open mind and a willingness to be a beginner again, you will find your rhythm here.

I’m Seema. I have spent the last five years figuring out how to move better, not just pose harder. If you are bored with the same old sequence and want to find a bit of play in your strength, I would love to have you in my flow.
