A look at my practice, ranging from strength-building drills to fluid flows. Here is where I share the reality of showing up on the mat, day after day.

This is what my practice is about: finding that point of balance between strength and surrender. It's not about achieving a perfect shape, but about the focus and calm I cultivate to get there. This is the journey we will embark on together.

I love exploring the connections between poses. This transition from a One-Legged Crow to a Tripod Headstand is a great example of how we can build a dynamic flow by linking strength, balance, and control.

Backbends are a practice of opening up, not just physically but emotionally. Here, surrounded by water, I felt a deep sense of release and connection. We'll work on opening your heart and spine with safety and awareness.

People often ask how long it takes to master advanced poses. My answer is always the same: the mat has no stopwatch. The real practice is in your consistency and willingness to show up for yourself, day after day.

Arm balances like Eka Pada Koundinyasana require more than just muscle. We'll break down the technique, focusing on core engagement and alignment, so you can find your own sense of lightness and lift.

My journey is a testament to practice. The image on the left was 2020, feeling tight and unsure. The image on the right is today, feeling more open and strong. Progress is not linear, but it is always possible.

Building up to a solid Pincha Mayurasana (Forearm Stand) starts with the fundamentals. Drills like this plank-to-dolphin are what build the necessary shoulder and core strength, preparing your body for the full inversion.

Sometimes plans fall apart to guide you to where you truly need to be. My yoga practice has taught me to trust the process, both on and off the mat. This flow is a reminder to embrace the journey.

About Featured

You might look at these advanced transitions and assume I was always flexible, but this is the result of thousands of small, repetitive drills. I do not just show you the final pose, I teach you the mechanics of the in-between, the core engagement and breath control that keep you safe. Whether you are working toward your first handstand or refining your flow, we focus on the process, not just the shape.

These visuals are a window into how my practice has evolved over the last five years. When you see a transition from a one-legged crow to a tripod headstand, it is easy to see the strength, but it is the breath and the mental focus that actually make the movement possible. My classes, whether they are focused on inversions or deep backbends, are built on this same foundation.

How I Teach

I believe that the mat is not a place for performance. It is a laboratory for your own biomechanics. In our live online sessions, we break down complex movements into smaller, manageable steps. We do not skip the warm-up or the conditioning, because that is where the injury prevention happens. You will learn to use props like blocks and straps to understand your own body, not to force it into a shape it is not ready for.

What to Expect

  • Real-time feedback: My sessions are interactive. I offer form spotting and verbal adjustments during the flow, so you are not left guessing.
  • Small group dynamics: We build a community where you can learn from the wobbles and falls of others as well as your own.
  • Progression: We use consistent drills to build the core, shoulder, and back strength necessary for advanced postures like Pincha Mayurasana or Handstands.

Yoga is rarely linear. You will have days where you feel strong and days where you feel tired. My goal is to help you build a relationship with your practice that keeps you coming back, regardless of how the pose looks.

I’m Seema. I didn't start flexible or zen—I started by falling over. My classes are for anyone ready to embrace the wobble and learn the mechanics behind the movement.
