About Learning the Ropes: Technique & Skill Training
You won't be throwing wild, uncalculated punches here. Every session starts with correcting your stance and footwork because speed means nothing without control. We focus on muscle memory, ensuring you are protected and effective before you ever touch a sparring partner.
If you want to fight, you must first learn to move. We don't teach you to just swing; we teach you the science behind every jab, cross, and hook.
Why Technique Comes First
Boxing is more than just raw power. It is about balance, leverage, and timing. At our Noida Stadium facility, we spend hours on the basics because a fighter who can't stand properly can't defend properly. Whether you are 5 or 50, the principles remain the same:
- Stance and Guard: Before you hit, you learn to protect yourself. We make sure your guard is tight and your weight is balanced.
- Footwork: You will learn to glide, not stomp. The ring is a chess match, and your feet are your primary tool for creating angles.
- Punch Mechanics: We teach you to drive power from your legs and hips, not just your arms. This prevents injury and makes your strikes count.
The Training Routine
We follow a structured progression to ensure safety. Beginners start with shadowboxing to internalize movement patterns without the distraction of a target. Once your form is locked in, we move to heavy bags for power development and focus pads for precision.
Safety is non-negotiable. Our training is conducted on matted floors, and our coaches supervise every drill. We want you to leave the academy better than you arrived, not injured. If you are serious about learning the art of boxing, come in, grab your wraps, and let’s get to work.
Shaheed Bhagat Singh Boxing Academy
I built this academy at Noida Stadium to keep the spirit of Jeet Maan alive. We don't do fancy, corporate workouts here. We do boxing, pure and simple, for anyone who wants to learn the discipline of the ring.
