The ring is our classroom. See how we test technique, speed, and courage through live sparring and competitive rounds.

Two young fighters ready for a bout at the Jeet Maan Memorial Boxing Tournament, with officials present. This is a formal competitive environment where they apply their training.

The pre-fight touch of gloves, a sign of respect before the battle begins. I teach my students sportsmanship alongside fighting skills.

Two of my youth boxers getting final instructions from the referee before their match. Ring experience is crucial for development.

A sparring session in progress, with fighters working on their jabs and movement. The full-sized ring gives them the space to practice real-world fight scenarios.

This sparring session focuses on defense and counter-punching. Notice how the fighters maintain their guard while looking for openings.

Even my youngest students get in the ring to spar. This builds their confidence and gets them comfortable with the competitive environment early on.

A fast-paced sparring exchange between two senior boxers. They are practicing combinations and footwork under my supervision.

Fighters practicing their skills in the ring. The focus here is on maintaining form and technique even when tired.

A mix of sparring and pad work happening simultaneously in the ring. This dynamic environment keeps all my fighters sharp and engaged.

A one on one sparring session where a fighter works on controlling the center of the ring. Ring generalship is a key skill I teach.

About In the Ring: Live Sparring & Bouts

Sparring is where we check if your drills actually work when someone is swinging back. It is not a street fight, it is a controlled test of reflexes, guard discipline, and ring intelligence. I watch every round from the corner to make sure you are improving your footwork and learning how to handle pressure before your next tournament.

This is where the theory from our pad work and bag sessions gets put to the test. At the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Boxing Academy, we do not spar to hurt; we spar to grow. Whether you are preparing for a local district tournament or just want to sharpen your reaction times, our regulation 16x16 ft ring provides the space to build real fight scenarios.

We focus on 'Ring Generalship'—how to control the center, when to pressure, and how to reset your guard under fire. If you are training for the Boxing Federation of India or Khelo India pathways, you need this experience. My fighters learn to stay calm when the pace picks up, which is exactly the difference between winning a medal and just participating. Come by the Noida Stadium, Sector 21A, and see how we build fighters, not just people looking for a workout.
