About Classic Gateaux & Layer Cakes
When you order a gateau here, you aren't getting a cake that has been sitting in a freezer. I bake every sponge fresh using real whipped cream and Dutch-processed cocoa, never vegetable fat shortening. Because these contain no artificial preservatives, they require refrigeration and are best enjoyed within 3 to 4 days of delivery.
My Approach to Classic Baking
Many people ask why my Black Forest tastes different from the versions found in local bakeries. The answer is simple: I do not use synthetic jams or cheap vegetable shortenings. Whether you are looking for a light White Forest with real white chocolate ganache or a rich Pistachio Gateau made with authentic nut paste, the approach remains the same—fresh, slow-baking methods.

- Serving Sizes: A standard 1kg cake is 8 to 9 inches in diameter and serves 8 to 10 people.
