This is a glimpse into the soul of Kathak. Here I am performing a piece in a beautifully ornate hall, showcasing the intricate footwork, expressive abhinaya, and joyful spins, or 'chakkars', that define this classical dance style.
The magic of dancing to live music is an experience I cherish for my students. This video shows a rehearsal in progress, with students practicing their bols and movements to the live rhythm of the tabla and the melody of the harmonium.

Our studio spaces are equipped with professional wooden flooring, which is essential for protecting your knees during intensive footwork sessions. In our regular classes, we break down complex concepts like 'Tatkar' (footwork), 'Hastas' (hand gestures), and 'Laya' (rhythm mathematics) to ensure you understand the 'why' behind every movement.
For those ready to step beyond the studio, we provide regular performance opportunities. Seeing our students perform at festivals like Chota Canvas is just as important as the practice itself. It is where you learn to handle the stage, project your 'Abhinaya' (expressions), and share the story you have spent months practicing. If you are an adult, our professional hobby batches offer a space to push your fitness and focus, while our kids' batches concentrate on posture, discipline, and the joy of dance. We keep our batches small to ensure every student receives individual guidance, whether you are training in person or joining our global online sessions.
