A look into our world of movement, where traditional Bharathanatyam and Kathak heritage meet the energy of the modern stage.

Our dance ensemble performing at a festival in the US, a moment of pure energy and vibrant color that received a standing ovation. This is the kind of stage experience we prepare our students for.

A performance of a classic Radha and Krishna story through Kathak. My sister and I love bringing these timeless tales to life with expressive storytelling and graceful movements.

A look inside a group choreography session at our Bangalore studio. We focus on creating a supportive space where students can learn and grow together while preparing for stage performances.

Our Natyanjali ensemble in a dynamic Bharathanatyam formation. We train dancers in creating powerful and synchronized group choreographies that captivate the audience.

A classic Bharathanatyam pose captured in a moment of stillness. This art form is built on a foundation of strong, traditional techniques which we emphasize in all our classes.

My sister and I during a beautiful morning shoot. We believe dance is not just for the stage but a way to connect with nature and express joy in every environment.

The pure happiness of performance, captured in a black and white portrait. For me, dance is about expressing emotion and connecting with the audience on a deeper level.

About this collection

When you step into our JP Nagar studio, you aren't just learning steps, you are preparing for the stage. We focus heavily on the Guru-Shishya tradition, ensuring every student understands the 'why' behind the movement, whether it's a fundamental Adavu in Bharathanatyam or a complex Chakkar in Kathak. This isn't a factory-style dance class; it is a space where we treat your technical growth and your artistic expression with equal importance.

Dance is not just a hobby for us at Natyanjali; it is a legacy passed down through generations. Our school in JP Nagar was born from a desire to keep this parampara alive while making it accessible to dancers who want to perform, not just practice in a mirror.

We believe that technical precision is the bedrock of expression. Whether you are starting with basic Kathak Tatkar or refining your Bharathanatyam Abhinaya, our batches are kept small (10 to 15 students) so we can actually see your posture and correct your Angashuddhi. We have invested in professional sprung wooden flooring to ensure your knees are protected, because we know dance is a long-term commitment.

Beyond the studio, we are deeply invested in the performance ecosystem. My sister Spurthi and I have spent our lives on stage, and we want our students to have that same thrill. Through our ensemble training, we prepare dancers for everything from intimate festivals to large-scale productions like Tarang and Durge. We handle the stage blocking, the lighting awareness, and the makeup application, so when you step into the light, you feel ready.

If you are looking for a space that balances the discipline of the classical arts with the joy of contemporary stagecraft, you will fit right in. We aren't just teaching you how to move; we are teaching you how to tell a story through movement.
