Martial Arts Training and Coaching Philosophy
Martial arts is more than just physical work. Take a look at the mindset, strategy, and consistent effort that goes into every session at my academy.
"My opponent is my teacher, my ego is my enemy." This is a philosophy I live by. This photo was taken after a good Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sparring session.
I believe that boxing is like chess, where you create a strategy to beat each opponent. This photo reflects the focus and mindset required for the sport.
About Additional Work
We train in non-AC setups in HSR Layout and near Electronic City to keep the focus purely on the grit and sweat of the workout. My sessions prioritize technical accuracy over speed, so whether you are practicing Dutch Kickboxing or BJJ, you will learn to build a sustainable foundation based on discipline.
For me, training is a chess match. It is not about how hard you hit, but how you manage the space and time against your opponent. I founded my academy to provide a space where this philosophy takes precedence over raw, uncontrolled aggression. Whether you are a total beginner or an experienced student, my approach remains the same: we focus on fundamentals, footwork, and tactical defense.
The Training Method
In our group classes, we cover Dutch Kickboxing and Western Boxing, specifically working on Philly Shell defense. You will find that our environment is simple and purposeful. By using puzzle mats and hanging heavy bags in a non-AC setting, we strip away distractions. This allows everyone, from kids aged 4 and up to adults, to focus entirely on their growth.
