A look at our journey on the mats, from competition wins and technical drills to the supportive team culture we have built in Bengaluru.

Here, you can see a live No-Gi grappling exchange. I believe BJJ is like physical chess, and this moment shows the constant problem-solving needed to control an opponent and work towards a submission.

I am proud of this moment, winning a gold medal at the India Open International Jiu-Jitsu Tournament. I don't just teach; I actively compete to sharpen my own skills and bring that experience back to my students.

This is what it's all about. Our team celebrating after an in-house competition. We have a mix of kids and adults, all supporting each other's growth and celebrating their hard-earned medals together.

This video shows a fundamental takedown in Gi Jiu-Jitsu. We practice these drills to make the movements second nature, focusing on using the opponent's uniform for leverage and control.

Safety is my top priority, especially with our younger students. Here, I am demonstrating how to correctly apply a Rear Naked Choke, a core BJJ submission, in a controlled and safe drill session for kids.

I am incredibly proud of the strong group of women who train with us. They prove that martial arts is for everyone, building confidence, strength, and practical self-defense skills in a supportive environment.

A quick photo with some of the team after a tough MMA and grappling session. We train hard, but we always end with respect and a sense of accomplishment. This is our family on the mats.

This is a great example of a fast-paced No-Gi scramble. It shows how we learn to stay calm and find opportunities to gain a dominant position or apply a submission even when things get chaotic.

About Featured

Whether you are here for competition training or just to get fit, my approach stays the same: we focus on fundamentals. You will see us drilling specific takedowns and submission techniques because those are the building blocks that keep you safe and effective on the mats, whether we are training in Gi or No-Gi.

Martial arts is more than just a workout, it is a way to build resilience. When you train at our academy, you are not just learning to punch or grapple, you are learning to solve problems under pressure.

My classes at HSR Layout and Basapura are built on this mindset. In our Gi sessions, we focus on the traditional uniform to master grips and control, which creates a strategic, methodical game. When we switch to No-Gi, things speed up, and the focus shifts to body mechanics and wrestling-style scrambles.

I am proud of the community we have grown here. You will see from these highlights that we have students of all levels, including kids as young as four and women who are redefining what it means to be strong. We treat the gym like a team. We celebrate every medal won at tournaments, but we also celebrate the day a beginner finally lands a technique they have been struggling with for weeks.

If you have never stepped on a mat before, do not worry. We keep it safe, focused, and respectful. You do not need to be an athlete to start, you just need the willingness to show up, be uncomfortable, and get better than you were yesterday.

I am Shiljith, and for me, fighting is a strategy, it is like chess. I do not just train students for a sport, we build a team where everyone, from kids to adults, learns to find comfort in uncomfortable situations.
