About BJJ & Wrestling
Why I Teach Grappling
For me, it's all about getting better together. Progress and positivity drive our group - we're not here to show off but to learn and support each other. On the mats, you'll see more smiles than scowls. We're a crew, not just a class, and nobody trains alone.
What Happens in Class
I mix Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling, focusing mostly on No-Gi grappling techniques. We skip the uniform and get straight to movement, technique breakdowns, and then live sparring. Sessions are structured, but the mood stays chill. You’ll get sweaty, you’ll learn, and nobody is out to hurt you. Safety is always rule number one.
Who Can Join
Seriously, anyone. Beginner friendly BJJ classes mean you can start with zero experience, or sharpen skills if you already know your stuff. Age, gender, fitness - doesn’t matter. We run family wrestling sessions too, with adults and kids learning side by side. If you’re just looking for a fun workout or to meet decent folks, you’ll fit right in.
Beyond Training - Our Community
We host regular Community Jiu Jitsu events called ‘Jiu Jitsu Jams’. It’s a chance for everyone to spar in a friendly, low-pressure way. These jams help build real connections both on and off the mats. Just show up, macha (buddy) - the hardest part is taking that first step.

My Story
People always think martial arts is just about fighting, but honestly, to me it’s more like jazz - all rhythm and flow. That George Foreman line, ‘the better it is, the less people appreciate it,’ hits home. I wanted to build a dojo where it’s about learning, not just winning. We’ve got everyone from kids to grown-ups like Renjith, who’s still bagging medals. Even during lockdown, we kept moving - dodging puppies, teaching online, laughing at our own mess-ups. It’s not just a gym, it’s our team. Here, everyone’s a coach, and the only thing we chase is sweaty smiles.
