Here, one of our senior students, Gokufury, coaches a teammate during a drill. Peer-to-peer learning is a huge part of our growth.

A closer look at the coaching moment, focusing on position and control from the top. Details make all the difference in grappling.

A typical scene after a roll: we sit down, discuss what happened, and break down the techniques. This is where a lot of the learning happens.

The group gathers for a post-sparring debrief. We encourage open discussion and questions to help everyone understand the concepts better.

Visiting Professor Bernd Roeske demonstrates a submission during a seminar with our team. Learning from experienced guests is invaluable.

About On the Mats: No-Gi Grappling in Action

Here, we train using our 'Dojo Weekly' syllabus, which means every session has a specific goal, like mastering a guard pass or refining a takedown. We skip the gi to focus on movement and feel, which helps beginners get comfortable quickly while allowing experienced students to sharpen their mechanics under resistance.

Why No-Gi Grappling?

In our grappling classes, we strip away the uniform to focus on the essentials: weight distribution, connection, and movement. By removing the gi, the game becomes faster and requires more precise body positioning. Whether you are aiming to compete or just want a better understanding of how leverage works, this approach builds a solid foundation for BJJ and wrestling.

The Dojo Weekly Approach

We don't believe in random training. Every week, our classes follow a specific curriculum. One week might be about side body locks, the next about leg mounts. This method ensures that you actually learn concepts rather than just throwing punches or rolling aimlessly. It is about getting 1% better every time you step on the mat.

Safe, Real, and Community-Driven

  • Safety First: We enforce strict safety rules. Our seniors and coaches are always watching to ensure everyone is training with control.
  • Peer Learning: As you see in the photos, we spend time discussing techniques after rolling. It is a space where you learn from your partners, not just from the coach.
  • Inclusive Atmosphere: You will find everyone from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners in our HSR Layout and RT Nagar batches. There is no ego here, just people helping each other improve.

What to Bring

You do not need any fancy gear to start. Just show up in a comfortable rash guard or t-shirt and shorts. We provide the mats and the structure; you bring the willingness to learn and sweat a little.
