Parkour Essentials: Learn Jumps, Vaults, and Flow
Want to navigate obstacles with confidence? I teach the basics of parkour, from safety rolls to precision vaults, in a fully padded environment in Laxmi Nagar.
A moment of flight. This black and white shot captures the feeling of a parkour jump on the rooftop training area.
This is a parkour lache, a swing from a bar to another point. We teach the fundamentals of bar work to build the strength and technique for moves like this.
Our rooftop setup is perfect for practicing parkour moves in a more open environment. Here I am working on some jumps and flips.
Taking my skills outdoors. Practicing handstands and flips in a park helps develop balance and control on different surfaces.
This is a side flip, a common move in both parkour and freerunning. We teach it step-by-step in a safe, padded environment.
Practicing precision jumps over obstacles is a core part of parkour training. We set up courses to challenge students and improve their skills.
Here's a front flip over a box. We use soft obstacles and crash mats so you can practice explosive jumps and flips safely.
Using the environment to train. This jump to a bar is a great drill for developing explosive power and accuracy in parkour.
Adding a creative challenge to our drills. Here, a student practices a dive roll through a hoop, a fun way to improve accuracy and body control.
This is a side flip off a box, a great way to practice advanced parkour moves with a bit of extra height.
About Parkour Essentials: Jumps, Vaults & Flow
You do not need to be an athlete to start learning parkour. We use thick crash mats and manual spotting so you can practice your first vault or safety roll without fear. We break every jump down slow motion mai, making sure your landing is soft and your technique is correct before you ever try it at speed.
How We Train
Parkour is about moving efficiently, not just showing off. Whether you are training for fitness or just want to learn how to move, we focus on the foundational movements that keep you safe and strong.
Core Skills We Practice
- Precision Jumps: Building accuracy so you can land safely on specific points.
- Safety Rolls: The most important skill to protect your joints during impact.
- Vaults: Learning to clear obstacles like railings and walls using control and speed.
The Setup
If you are training at our Laxmi Nagar facility, you get full access to crash mats, foam barrels, and high bars for calisthenics work. For those doing home sessions, I bring portable mats so you get the same protection. We also mix in bodyweight exercises like pull-ups and planks because you need core strength to handle the impact of parkour moves.
Getting Started
Most students start with our weekend starter batch to build their foundation. As you get stronger and more comfortable with the flow, you can transition to our regular weekday sessions for advanced technique training. It is all about consistent practice. If you are serious, we get results.
