Structured coaching for state government drawing exams. We focus on fundamentals, tonal values, and building the confidence to pass your exams with skill and precision.

Our new batches for the government drawing grade exams are now open. This video shows students practicing still life drawing, a key component of the exam syllabus for which we provide step by step guidance.

A student practices painting a red bell pepper from life, focusing on capturing its form, color, and texture. This kind of object study is essential preparation for the still life section of the drawing exams.

Learning to see and draw. Here, a student paints a sliced tomato, carefully observing its internal structure and color variations. This exercise sharpens observation skills, which are critical for exam success.

A student works on a detailed painting of a sliced capsicum. Our classes guide students on how to use watercolors to create depth and realism in their still life compositions.

A student uses oil pastels to draw brinjals, learning blending techniques to show highlights and shadows. We teach various mediums as required by the elementary and intermediate exam curriculum.

A young artist fully engaged in her work, mixing colors to accurately paint a metallic pot. We ensure each student gets personal attention to guide them through challenging techniques like rendering reflective surfaces.

A student carefully studies a reference image to understand the composition and color scheme for her still life painting. We teach students how to deconstruct and replicate complex arrangements.

A happy student proudly displays her completed metal pot painting. Seeing this confidence is the best reward for us as teachers.

About Drawing Grade Exam Success

In our exam batches, we cut out the fluff. We do not let you rely on shortcuts because the examiners look for proper form, shading, and anatomical accuracy. Whether you are prepping for Elementary or Intermediate, we drill the fundamentals until your still life and memory drawings are exam-ready. If a sketch looks weak, we will tell you to fix it, because passing these exams requires discipline, not just creativity.

Success in the Elementary and Intermediate Drawing Grade Exams is about more than just talent. It is about understanding the strict criteria the government examiners look for: clear composition, accurate tonal values, and speed.

Our Exam Focus

We divide our coaching into four core areas mandated by the syllabus:

  • Still Life: We practice rendering objects like pots, vegetables, and fruit, focusing on capturing the play of light and shadow, and the texture of materials like steel, glass, or ceramic.
  • Memory Drawing: We push you to observe and visualize scenes, teaching you how to construct human figures in action within a setting like a market or a bus stop.
  • Design: We cover color theory and geometric patterns, ensuring your 2D designs are balanced and vibrant.
  • Geometry & Lettering: We treat this as a technical skill, focusing on precision, which is often the section where students lose marks.

The Training Approach

We run small batches to ensure we can provide individual critiques. You will undergo timed mock tests that simulate the pressure of the actual exam hall. This helps you manage your time and avoid the common mistake of over-focusing on one section at the cost of others. We take our outdoor live sketching sessions seriously too, as they train your eye to capture natural light and movement quickly.

Our goal is to ensure that by the time you reach the exam center, you have the confidence of someone who has drawn these forms a hundred times. We provide the structure and the discipline, and we expect you to show up ready to work. If you are serious about clearing these grades, we are here to guide you through the process.
