About Painting Classes
Why I Teach Art
I’ve been running Renuka’s Art Zone for 26 years because I genuinely believe art is for everyone. My studio is a place to relax, learn, and just let your creativity flow. Watching someone discover their own style is honestly the best part of my day.
Who Can Join
Kids, adults, absolute beginners, advanced painters - sabko welcome hai (everyone is welcome). I run batches for all ages, including late-evening classes for kids and special workshops for adults. If you’re nervous, don’t worry - most sessions are beginner-friendly and I provide all materials. I also work with students with special needs, so nobody feels left out.
What You’ll Learn
- Canvas painting is our most popular. We mostly use acrylics, but mix it up with decoupage, gold foiling, and impasto. If you want to try palette knife art workshop or one-stroke painting course, I teach both beginner and advanced levels.
- Fluid art is messy and fun - pour acrylics and create abstract pieces.
- Traditional Indian art forms like Pichwai and Kerala murals, adapted for modern canvas.
- Watercolor techniques class covers transparent washes and poster colors, good for exam prep too.
My Teaching Style
I keep it direct and hands-on. You’ll hear me say things like, “Stick figures nako kadhu, direct kadh!” (Don’t draw stick figures, draw directly!) or “Idhar ka body kidhar hai? Gayab ho gaya? Bada banao, chalo jaldi!” (Where’s the body? Make it bigger, quick!). I push you to see and create better, but always celebrate your progress.
Find Your Fit
One-day workshops are great for a quick creative burst. Regular classes help you build a strong foundation and grow your skills over time. Choose what suits you best.
