Why Aerial Yoga

I treat aerial yoga as a tool for progress, not just a flashy workout. The hammock takes the pressure off your wrists and spine, allowing you to access poses that usually take years of floor practice to achieve. We use the silks to deepen stretches, hold challenging inversions safely, and build core stability that translates directly to your regular practice.

My Approach

  • Safety First: Falling is part of the process, but not when you are airborne. I teach you how to get in and out of the hammock safely, including the specific grips and exit strategies you need.
  • Spinal Decompression: If you have back stiffness from sitting at a desk, this is your fix. We focus on hanging traction and gentle inversions to create space in the vertebrae.
  • Progressive Drills: We start with basic mounts and get comfortable with the fabric before we even think about flipping. You do not need to be a gymnast to start; you just need to be willing to trust the silk.
