About Yoga for Life: Community & Connection
You won’t find us rushing through sequences or chasing picture-perfect poses here. In my Iyengar-focused sessions, we use wall ropes, chairs, and blocks to make every asana accessible, allowing you to focus entirely on your breath and how your body actually feels.
My approach is simple: yoga is a 'work-in,' not just a workout. Because I follow the Iyengar tradition, we pay attention to precision. If you are new to this, don't worry about flexibility. That is exactly what props are for. We use these tools to help you find your sweet spot in every pose, whether you are dealing with a stiff back or recovering from an injury.
Finding Your Tribe
When we practice together—whether at my studio in Lavelle Road, Bengaluru, or during our outdoor retreats—the focus is on community. We share the space, we laugh when we wobble, and we learn from each other. My goal is to build a tribe where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment.
What We Actually Do
- Iyengar Alignment: We use ropes and wall supports to deepen stretches safely. It builds stability and awareness that sticks with you long after you roll up your mat.
- Group Energy: From the sunrise sessions at the Aurobindo Ashram to our beach flows in Goa, the group dynamic keeps us motivated.
- Accessible For All: I work with everyone from kids and teens to athletes and expecting mothers. Every session is adapted to the bodies in the room.
