Partner and Group Yoga Classes in Konanakunte
Yoga isn't just an individual journey—it's a shared experience. We use partner poses and group formations to build trust, deepen our stretches, and celebrate our progress together.
Finding balance together. This partner pose combines a full split (Hanumanasana) with a deep wheel pose (Chakrasana), showcasing the strength and flexibility that comes from consistent practice and mutual support.
A creative partner pose by the pool, demonstrating trust and core control. One yogi holds a stable headstand while the other balances in a bridge pose variation on top.
A beautiful group formation of the wheel pose (Chakrasana). Three students support each other to deepen their backbends, creating a powerful flow of energy and demonstrating wonderful teamwork.
This is the same group wheel pose from a different angle, highlighting the alignment and shared effort. It's a testament to how we can lift each other up in our practice.
A dynamic partner asana in our studio. This pose combines a seated wide-legged forward bend with a supported headstand, requiring both stability from the base and balance from the flyer.
A creative group formation showing four students connecting in a circle through the wheel pose. This not only builds strength but also fosters a sense of unity and shared accomplishment.
Another view of our students creating a wheel pose circle. This asana is a powerful heart opener, and practicing it together amplifies the feeling of connection and positive energy in the studio.
A beautiful moment in the studio with students exploring different asanas. This image shows a mix of warrior poses, wheel poses, and standing poses, reflecting the diversity of practice in a single session.
Another angle of our students practicing together. The combination of a standing prayer pose, a backbend, and a warrior pose in one frame shows the harmony we create in our shared space.
A playful and strong group pose. This formation combines a seated split, a headstand, and two tree poses, showcasing individual balance and collective creativity.
About Partner & Group Yoga: The Power of Community
When you step into our partner yoga sessions, you aren't just balancing on a mat; you are learning to rely on someone else's stability. In our group wheel pose circles or partner headstands, you will find that the support of the community helps you hold poses longer and safer than you would alone. It is about letting go of fear and leaning into the collective energy of the group.
Building Connection Through Asanas
At Shree Yoga Academy, we believe yoga is better when shared. Our Krida Yoga workshops are designed to break the monotony of solitary practice, inviting you to engage in partner stretches, human pyramids, and reflex-based games. These interactive sessions are not about competition; they are about communication.
Why Group Practice Matters
- Trust and Safety: Whether we are practicing a partner headstand or a supported backbend, the presence of a partner creates a safety net. This allows you to explore deeper ranges of motion in poses like Chakrasana (Wheel Pose) with confidence.
- Playful Alignment: We use 'Krida' or play techniques to correct alignment. Instead of rigid instruction, we use partner games that naturally guide your body into the correct form.
- Shared Energy: Practicing in a circle or group formation amplifies the energy in the room. It turns a workout into a community celebration where every participant contributes to the collective balance.
Our Approach in Bengaluru
We keep our batches small to ensure personal attention and proper spotting. Whether you are at our Konanakunte studio or joining us for an outdoor session, my goal is to create a safe space where you can let your guard down.
We provide all the necessary props—blocks, straps, and dynamic gear—so you just need to bring your willingness to participate. If you have been feeling stuck in your individual practice, come join us. Sometimes, the missing piece of your abhyaasa is simply the support of someone else holding space for you.
Madhushree
I’m Madhushree, and I built this space because I believe our practice grows when we share it. Whether we are in our Konanakunte studio or out by a pool, we are here to grow, laugh, and move together.
