We believe puppetry has the power to connect, comfort, and bring people together. Whether performing at a hospital ward or a community center, our shows are designed to turn an ordinary day into a shared experience of laughter and wonder.

The joy on our puppeteer's face reflects the happiness of the children during our hospital performance. These shows are incredibly meaningful to us.

These children are the real heroes. Performing for them is an honor that our team will always cherish.

We were thrilled to be the artist of the event for Snehadhara Foundation's 'Houseful' initiative, bringing creative performances to children.

About Spreading Joy in Our Community

Every community or hospital space presents its own unique challenge, but that is where the magic happens. Whether we are transforming a hospital ward or a community multipurpose room, our portable stage requires only 10ft by 8ft of floor space, meaning we can bring the full theatre experience almost anywhere you need.

Our work with community groups and NGOs is about using the art of puppetry to bridge gaps and create inclusive spaces. When we partner with organizations like the Snehadhara Foundation or visit children at St. John’s Hospital, we adapt our performances to ensure everyone, regardless of ability, feels involved.

Our stories, like the one about 'Popo' thatha—a tale of quiet resilience and love—often resonate deeply in these settings. We believe art should be accessible, which is why we travel across Bengaluru and beyond to bring these shows to where they are needed most.

We do not just perform and leave. We often host interactive sessions after the shows where children meet our handmade characters, learn how strings and rods function, and even try basic manipulation themselves. This hands-on approach is particularly effective in therapeutic settings, as it turns passive watching into active engagement. From Bunraku puppets to simple sock puppets, we choose the format that best fits the energy and needs of the audience. If you are looking to add an element of joy to your next community gathering, school function, or hospital event, reach out to us. We handle the entire technical setup so you can focus on the smiles.

I am Anvitha, and I started PuppeTree because I believe puppets tell stories in ways people simply cannot ignore. For our team, these shows are not just performances; they are chances to sit with a child, share a laugh, and create a genuine connection through our handmade characters.
