About Our Signature Stories: 'Popo' & 'Some Some Story'
It takes a three-person ensemble to bring a show like 'Popo' or 'Some Some Story' to life. We do not just show up with puppets, we arrive an hour early with our portable stage, lighting, and live percussion to transform your space into a theatre. Whether you are hosting a terrace party or a school event, we ensure the setup is seamless and the story stays front and center.
Our theatre shows are not just for kids. 'Popo' is a Bunraku-style piece that explores the quiet, enduring love of a thatha (grandfather). It is a slower, deeply emotional experience that often leaves adults and children alike feeling touched. On the flip side, 'Some Some Story' is a marionette adventure perfect for those who want high energy, laughter, and a bit of wonder.
Every story is crafted by hand in our workshop. When we perform, we bring more than just dolls—we bring a complete theatrical experience. We handle the black backdrop, the focus lighting, and the live percussion, so you do not have to worry about the logistics. We have performed at community favourites like Atta Galatta and The Courtyard, and we love adapting our portable stage for private homes, terraces, or school auditoriums across the city.
