Our Signature Stories: 'Popo' & 'Some Some Story'

We have two shows that are very close to our hearts. 'Popo' is a gentle Bunraku puppet piece about a loving thatha (grandfather), while 'Some Some Story' is a lively marionette adventure about a young boy. Both are unique storytelling experiences perfect for family audiences, schools, and private events.

The Magic of a Live Show

There is nothing like the energy of a live performance. We perform everywhere from intimate home terraces and art galleries to large school auditoriums, bringing the complete setup to create a magical atmosphere. Watch how audiences of all ages get lost in the world of our stories.

Spreading Joy in Our Community

Performing for community and NGO events is at the heart of what we do at PuppeTree. We are passionate about bringing the joy of puppetry to everyone, especially children in hospitals and those with special needs. The energy and smiles in these rooms are truly priceless.

Meet Our Handmade Puppets

Every one of our puppets is designed and crafted by hand in our workshop. From traditional marionettes and Bunraku-style figures to simple sock puppets and paper cutouts, each character is built with love and a story to tell. This variety allows us to create diverse and innovative shows.

Interactive Fun & Workshops

The magic doesn't end when the curtain falls. After most shows, we invite the audience to meet the puppets, ask questions, and see how they work. We also conduct hands-on puppetry workshops for schools, art galleries, and private groups, where participants can learn to bring their own characters to life.

Behind the Curtain: The Making Of

A lot of love and hard work goes into every performance before the curtain rises. This is a look at our process, from team rehearsals and stage setup to recording original music and filming with a green screen for special projects. It's a true team effort.

In the Spotlight: Our Journey & Recognition

We are humbled and proud of the journey our puppets have taken us on. From being featured in local newspapers like the Deccan Chronicle and Vijaya Karnataka to representing India at international puppetry festivals in Europe, it has been an amazing ride. This recognition fuels our passion to keep sharing our stories.
