About this collection
Unlike standard drop-in classes, our workshops aren't about flowing through poses for a workout. We treat these sessions like a lab. We break down anatomy, use walls and blocks for muscle isolation, and discuss the 'why' behind the movement. Whether it is a weekend backbend intensive or our Pranayama Sadhana, the focus is on providing tools you can immediately apply to your own practice at home.
From Information to Knowledge
Yoga is often approached as a collection of poses, but we believe it is a path of inquiry. These specialized events are where that information shifts into lived experience. Our programming is divided into three primary focuses to help you navigate your journey.
Intensive Sadhana & Pranayama
We host deep-dive sessions that move past basic asana. Our Pranayama Sadhana courses are strictly capped at 20 students to maintain a focused, safe environment. These sessions involve traditional breathwork, cleansing techniques (Shatkarmas), and exploration of the Hatha Yoga Pradipika texts to help you understand the subtle energy, or Prana, within.
Themed Asana Workshops
Each month, we isolate a specific challenge, such as backbends or arm balances, to create a focused 'lab' environment. Instead of a continuous flow, we dedicate time to biomechanics and anatomy. You will learn how to use props like chairs and blocks for alignment, ensuring you build the strength and flexibility to progress safely toward advanced asanas.
Skill-Building for Teachers
If you are a teacher, our adjustment workshops offer hands-on training to help you better serve your students. We strip away the jargon and focus on the practical reality of guiding a body through space, teaching you how to offer effective, compassionate corrections that respect the individual student's anatomy.
Whether you join us at our Garden of Samaskaras studio in Whitefield or participate in our online intensives, these workshops are an invitation to slow down and practice with intention.
