I believe music is a direct path to the divine. My satsangs use bhajans, kirtan, and healing instruments to quiet the mind and open the heart, creating a collective space for true devotion.

A moment of musical contemplation during a sound healing session. The vibrations of the singing bowl and the gentle candlelight create a space for deep inner work. It is in these quiet moments that we can truly listen to the voice of our soul.

The Taanpura, with its five strings, mirrors the five elements of our body. When its strings resonate in harmony, it helps align our inner energies, creating a bridge between the physical and the spiritual. This is a jugalbandi, a duet, that touches the soul.

Music is a language that every heart understands. Here I am playing the banjo, not as a performer, but as a way to share a moment of joy and connect with others. The goal is simple: to touch hearts and spread a little happiness.

A spontaneous moment of joy, playing the djembe drum. Rhythm and vibration are fundamental parts of our universe, and connecting with them through music is a powerful form of meditation and expression.

Playing a simple bhajan on the harmonium, a prayer to the Guru to fill my life with seva (service), sumiran (remembrance), and satsang (spiritual company). This is the foundation of a meaningful life.

Joining a Hare Krishna kirtan on the streets of Lithuania. The Maha Mantra transcends all cultural and geographical boundaries, uniting everyone in a shared vibration of devotion and joy. It is beautiful to see this aspect of Indian culture embraced so lovingly abroad.

Celestial rhythm, sacred motion. This is ecstatic dance, a form of active meditation where we let go of the thinking mind and allow the body to move freely with the music. It is a celebration of life and a powerful way to release stagnant energy.

The Swaramandal, with its 36 strings, is said to represent the 36 virtues of a complete human being. Playing this instrument is a meditation in itself, a practice of tuning oneself to the harmony of the cosmos.

A glimpse into our practice session for the reality show 'Symphony of India'. Here, our Meditative Classical Instruments Healing Band is preparing for the audition, blending different sounds to create a healing musical experience.

A concert on wheels! During a train journey from Delhi to Mumbai, our band held an impromptu music session. It was a beautiful reminder that music and joy can be created anywhere, with no tickets required.

About Satsang & Kirtan: The Path of Devotion

A satsang is not a performance where you simply sit back and watch. It is a shared offering of devotion, where we use the harmonium, Tibetan singing bowls, and Kirtan to vibrate at a frequency that helps you let go of the day's stress. Whether it is a small family gathering or a larger session, the goal remains the same: we come together to clear the noise and reconnect with the stillness inside you.

In our busy lives, we are constantly overstimulated. My satsangs and kirtan sessions are designed as an antidote to this. We practice Nada Yoga, the yoga of sound, using instruments like the swaramandal and singing bowls to shift your internal state.

What to Expect

These sessions are intimate gatherings. We do not just sing; we listen. We chant mantras, share stories from our rich Indian tradition, and use sound baths to create a deep meditative environment. It is an exploration of the self through collective energy.
