We take a practical approach to energy work. In our sessions, we do not just discuss the seven chakras, we teach you how to physically align them using targeted postures like Downward Dog for the solar plexus or Fish Pose for throat clarity, ensuring you feel the shift in your practice.
Beyond the Mat
Many students come to us thinking yoga is solely about flexibility, but our philosophy at Pradipika is rooted in 'Yoga for Self and Society'. We focus on the complete yogic path, which includes cleansing techniques known as Shatkarmas, chakra balancing, and guided Dhyana (meditation).
Practical Energy Work
Our approach is highly technical. We teach you how specific asanas, such as the meditative postures Padmasana, Vajrasana, and Sukhasana, help maintain an erect spine, which is essential for effective meditation. We guide you through the seven energy centers, or chakras, from the base Mooladhara to the crown Sahasrara, showing you how to clear blockages that might be affecting your mental or emotional state.

Our lead instructor, Shri. Shivashankar P Shenoy, brings a deep understanding of yogic science to every session. Whether you are joining us for a 'Mindful Meditation' workshop or a daily group session, you will receive clear, step-by-step guidance. We emphasize that just like learning to surf the waves, you cannot control the external world, but you can learn to navigate it with a calm, centered mind.
