When we host open days, we want you to experience the thermal comfort of 1.5-foot thick mud walls and the unique acoustics of a central 'totti mane' (courtyard) firsthand.

Why We Host Open Houses

We believe you should see the messy, beautiful reality of construction. It is one thing to see a rendered image; it is another to stand in a room finished with cool Lohi lime plaster or to walk across a traditional red oxide floor. We invite potential homeowners to these events to:

• Understand Materials: See how local laterite, lime, and reclaimed wood come together without concrete-heavy structures.
• Experience Flow: Observe how we use wind catchers and clerestory windows to create cross-ventilation in tight urban plots.
• Learn the Process: Whether it is our owner-builder model or a full-cycle build, you get to ask us about the challenges of building with earth in the city and how we solve them.

Join Our Workshops

Beyond site visits, we regularly conduct hands-on natural building workshops. These are for those who want to get their hands dirty—literally. We teach the basics of mud sculpting, lime mortar mixing, and brick arch construction. It is a space to learn, share, and connect with a community that values sustainable living as much as we do.
