Hello from the Pottery Lab. This is a quick overview of the single session workshops we offer. They are one to two hour sessions scheduled every week, covering various topics and techniques for all skill levels. Just send me a message for the link to sign up.
In our hand-building a plate workshop, you will learn the slab and marbling techniques to create your own functional plate. The session is held every Friday and the fee includes all materials and firing costs.
Learn to make your own teacup in this fun workshop. I will teach you the pinch, coil, and marbling techniques of construction to hand-build a unique cup. This session is held every Friday and is perfect for beginners.
About Workshop Info & Booking
Please keep in mind that once you finish your piece, it goes through a professional glazing and double-firing process in our kiln to become food-safe. This takes about four weeks, so you won't be taking your creation home the same day—it will be worth the wait when you finally get it back.
Our Workshop Options
I offer a few different ways to get your hands dirty, depending on what you are looking for:
- Hand-Building Workshops (Studio): Perfect for beginners. We use pinch, coil, or slab methods to make functional items like mugs or bowls. It is a relaxing, tactile way to learn the basics at my Pali Hill studio.
- Potter’s Wheel Masterclass: If you want to master the wheel, this is for you. These sessions are limited to small groups of 6-8 people to ensure you get nearly one-on-one guidance on centering and wall pulling. It is intensive but incredibly rewarding.
- Corporate & Private Off-site Events: I can bring the entire workshop experience to your office. We handle all the logistics, from surface protection to cleanup, making it a stress-free team-building activity that actually helps your colleagues unwind and connect.
What is Included
All my workshops are all-inclusive. When you book a seat, the fee covers the clay, tools, aprons, and the professional firing service. You do not need to bring anything other than a curious mindset. If you are worried about not having an 'artistic bone' in your body, please don't be. My role is to guide you step-by-step through the process.
Location and Timing
Our studio is tucked away in Pali Hill, Bandra. It is a green, quiet space designed to feel like a break from Mumbai’s usual chaos. Weekly workshops are scheduled throughout the month, and I update the availability regularly. If you are booking a private event, we can coordinate a time that works best for your group's calendar. Just reach out, and we can get you sorted.
