Corporate Team Building Pottery Workshops
Getting your team out of the office to work with clay is a proven way to shift the energy. My corporate workshops focus on collaboration rather than competition, helping everyone from interns to leadership unwind. Whether you come to my greenhouse studio in Pali Hill or have us set up at your office, we ensure a seamless, creative break.
It has been a privilege to host so many wonderful teams at the studio for creative and challenging workshops. Here are just a few of the great companies we have worked with. Each session is filled with reflection, fun, and teamwork.
A glimpse into a corporate team building workshop at the studio. I start by giving some simple instructions, and soon enough, everyone is lost in their own creative process, making something unique with their hands.
Here is a look at a group workshop in session. From learning to work with colored clay to proudly showing off their finished plates and bowls, it's a complete creative journey that everyone experiences together.
In my team workshops, people share laughs, learn how visual art fundamentals can apply to their own work, and surprise themselves with their creativity. It's about more than just pottery; it's about discovering a new way to think and connect.
An afternoon well spent with a corporate team at our studio. These team building workshops are designed to be the perfect mix of fun and challenge, ending with everyone taking home a piece they made themselves.
A pottery workshop is a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion with your team or loved ones. We can host a private, two hour session for your group to create and connect in a memorable way.
My workshops are for everyone. You can join a pre-scheduled session or book a private one for your group. It's a great way to spend time together, smiling and creating at the work table.
About Corporate Teams & Team Building
When you are working with clay, you cannot be on your phone. That is the biggest benefit of these workshops. I guide your team through simple hand-building techniques, meaning no prior art experience is required. The goal is not to produce gallery-grade ceramics, but to create a shared experience where everyone feels equal, focused, and relaxed.
Two Ways to Connect
At The Pottery Lab (Pali Hill) Come to my studio if you want a complete change of scenery. It is a green, quiet space where you can escape the city noise. We host small groups for wheel-throwing or larger teams for hand-building sessions. It is the perfect spot for teams who want to leave the office behind entirely.
At Your Office If you cannot travel, I bring the studio to you. We handle all logistics, including protecting your furniture, setting up clay stations, and full cleanup afterward. Whether it is a conference room or a cafeteria, we transform your space into a creative zone.
The Process
I believe in the process, not just the result. Everyone gets to work with high-fire stoneware clay, creating functional items like mugs or bowls. Because we want your work to last, my team handles the technical drying, trimming, and double-firing process. This ensures every piece is food and microwave-safe.
Please note that because ceramic firing takes time, your finished pieces will be ready for collection in about 4 weeks. It is worth the wait to have a permanent, handmade reminder of the time your team spent together.
Why Pottery for Teams?
There is a specific kind of focus that happens when hands are covered in clay. It levels the playing field—everyone is a beginner, and everyone is learning. My past sessions with companies like Netflix and LinkedIn have shown me that the best conversations happen when people are doing something with their hands rather than sitting through a presentation.
