The Pottery Lab: A Creative Sanctuary in Pali Hill
Step away from the Mumbai chaos and into our quiet, green-filled studio in Pali Hill. This is where we slow down, get our hands dirty, and make things with care.
A few quiet moments of life at the lab. Our studio is surrounded by greenery, and we often get little visitors like this bird. It's a peaceful sanctuary that we hope inspires everyone who walks through our doors.
For those of you wondering where we are, our studio is located on Nargis Dutt road in the lovely neighborhood of Pali hill, Bandra. It's a wonderful area with cafes and the ocean front just a short walk away.
Here is a map to help you find your way to us. We are easily accessible from Carter Road, Linking Road, and Turner Road. Street parking is available, so you can come and make a relaxing 'Pali-day' out of your visit.
A glimpse of our studio, with shelves of student work waiting to be fired and the green garden just outside the door. It’s a space that holds so many stories of creativity and discovery.
This is our happy place. Sunlit, surrounded by green, and filled with creative energy. We wanted our studio to be a space where you can slow down, connect with your hands, and feel inspired the moment you walk in.
About Our Studio: A Creative Escape in Pali Hill
Finding us is easy, but you might want to leave a little extra time before or after your session. We are tucked away on Nargis Dutt Road in Pali Hill, surrounded by cafes and a short walk from the ocean front. Many of our students turn their workshop time into a full day out, grabbing coffee and exploring the neighborhood, which is honestly the best way to soak in the slow vibe we have built here.
We designed The Pottery Lab to be a deliberate pause button in the middle of Mumbai. When you walk through our doors, the first thing you will notice is the light. Our studio in Pali Hill, Bandra, is glass-walled and surrounded by greenery, which naturally encourages a slower pace. Whether you are coming in for a wheel-throwing class, a hand-building session, or one of our niche craft workshops, the environment is just as much a part of the experience as the clay itself.
Location-wise, we are situated on Nargis Dutt Road. We understand that navigating Bandra traffic can be stressful, so we have made sure we are accessible from major routes like Carter Road, Linking Road, and Turner Road. If you are driving, street parking is available, taking the stress out of your commute.
This is not a high-pressure environment. We operate with a no-experience-needed policy because we believe the joy of creating outweighs technical perfection. Over the last decade, we have seen people walk in feeling nervous and leave grinning with their own creations. We have shelves full of student work waiting to be fired and a team that is genuinely invested in your progress. We invite you to treat a session here not just as a class, but as a mini-retreat—bring a friend, or come solo to unwind and focus on nothing but the clay in front of you.
