Beyond the Reformer: Our Full Pilates Equipment Suite
Think Pilates is just the Reformer? Think again. We use a full studio of specialized apparatus to target your specific movement needs.
A look at our fully equipped studio. With multiple reformers, Cadillac towers, and stability chairs, I have everything needed to provide a comprehensive and varied Pilates experience.
This is where the transformation happens. My studio is designed to be a clean, modern, and inspiring space for you to focus on your fitness journey.
This client is using the push-through bar on the reformer for a full-body exercise that strengthens the core and improves coordination. The studio's calming ambiance enhances focus.
Here, a client uses the reformer box and arm straps on the Cadillac tower. This setup allows for targeted upper body work while maintaining core stability.
A group of clients uses stability balls on the reformer to challenge their balance and engage their core muscles more deeply during this kneeling exercise.
Using props like the stability ball adds a dynamic challenge to traditional exercises. This client is performing a lunge, which requires extra core engagement to control the ball.
This client is performing a lunge using the Pilates chair, a versatile piece of equipment that is excellent for building leg strength and improving balance.
This client is using the reformer box and straps for a seated arm exercise. This position helps isolate the muscles of the upper back and shoulders for targeted strengthening.
The roll-down bar on the Cadillac tower provides resistance for this arm exercise, helping the client build upper body strength with controlled, precise movements.
This video shows a variety of equipment in use, from the instructor using a stability ball to clients working on the reformer box and footbar, highlighting the versatility of my sessions.
About Our Equipment: Beyond the Reformer
The reformer is our foundation, but it is not the only tool we use for your transformation. When we incorporate the Cadillac, Stability Chair, or props like magic circles, we are targeting specific muscle imbalances or mobility issues that the reformer might miss. It is about matching the right apparatus to your body's unique requirements, rather than forcing you into a standard, one-size-fits-all routine.
At our Hauz Khas studio, we believe in the full 'Contrology' experience. While the Reformer is famous for its flow and resistance, it is just one piece of the puzzle. Here is how we use our other equipment to fast-track your progress:
The Cadillac (Trapeze Table) This is essential for our rehab and recovery clients. It allows for vertical movement and complex stretching that you cannot perform on a reformer. If you are dealing with a back injury or need to improve shoulder stability, we use the Cadillac’s spring system to provide support while you work on alignment.
The Stability Chair Don't let the name fool you. The chair is one of the most challenging pieces of equipment for leg strength, balance, and core engagement. We use this for our athletic performance clients who need to build functional stability for daily life or sports like tennis or running.
Precision Props We integrate Magic Circles, resistance bands, and foam rollers to provide immediate tactile feedback. If you are struggling to engage your inner thighs or deep core, these props make it impossible to cheat, forcing the correct muscles to activate.
We do not guess with your body. Every session is designed based on your diagnostic assessment, meaning we choose the equipment that best serves your current goals, whether that is injury rehabilitation, prenatal safety, or general strength.
Pilates For You
We started this studio because gyms felt too noisy and harsh for the kind of focused movement we wanted to teach. We believe in building strength from the inside out, using a full range of apparatus to ensure every session is safe, precise, and entirely about your growth.
