Pilates on Chair, Cadillac & MOTR in Mumbai
Go beyond the Reformer. From gravity-defying Cadillac moves to stability-focused Chair sequences and full-body MOTR conditioning, these sessions are designed to push your limits.
The Cadillac is where we truly explore what the body is capable of, combining strength, flexibility, and a bit of gravity-defying magic. This full-body split showcases incredible control and mobility, something we build towards with consistent practice.
Chair Pilates, but make it spicy. This set is all about the burn, targeting the glutes, core, and legs. This tiny seat packs a huge punch when it comes to building strength and stability.
MOTR stands for More Than a Reformer, and it's the ultimate Pilates upgrade. It adds challenges of balance, resistance, and core stability all in one sleek tube. You can't zone out; your body and brain have to stay in sync.
This is your reminder that Pilates is exactly what your body was asking for. Here, clients work on the Pilates Chair, a versatile piece of equipment that challenges the entire body.
Don't wait for the new year, start moving now. Advanced moves like these on the Cadillac and Reformer show what's possible when you move with intention and consistency.
My plans for New Year's? A challenging session on the MOTR. This equipment combines a foam roller with resistance bands for a unique workout that targets balance and strength.
We joke, we play, but the trainer brings the Pilates magic. Here, I'm guiding a client through a challenging balance exercise on the Chair, ensuring she stays safe while pushing her limits.
The only trip we're taking today is from our reformers to tears of accomplishment. This group class is working hard on the Chairs and Reformers, building strength in unison.
They say diamonds are a girl's best friend, but have they tried the Pilates Chair? It lifts your mood, strengthens your core, and never goes out of style.
This chair move sculpts your legs, fires up your glutes, tones your arms, and powers your core. It's a test of balance, strength, and control, all in one spicy little shape.
About Specialized Equipment: Chair, Cadillac & MOTR
These aren't standard gym workouts. When you use the Cadillac or Chair, you are working with spring-loaded resistance that requires total control. You can’t 'zone out' here. The equipment demands deep engagement of the transverse abdominis, keeping you honest about your alignment while challenging your balance and stability in ways the Reformer simply cannot replicate.
Precision Equipment for Real Results
I use specialized apparatus to help you move with more intention and less strain. Each piece of equipment serves a specific function in your training:
The Cadillac (Trapeze Table) It is not just for advanced acrobatic shapes. I use the Cadillac for specific injury rehabilitation and deep, assisted spinal decompression. It allows for a range of motion that feels restrictive on other machines, making it essential for clients recovering from back pain or working on mobility.
The Wunda Chair If you want to talk about core and glute strength, the Chair is the master of it. It is compact but unforgiving. It forces you to stabilize your body against uneven resistance, which builds the kind of functional strength you actually use in daily life, like maintaining your posture during long work hours or carrying weight.
The MOTR This is the tool I use to bridge the gap between Pilates and athletic conditioning. It combines a foam roller with resistance bands, making it excellent for agility training and fixing muscle imbalances that might be holding back your performance in other sports.
Why Train With Us
Whether you are at my Worli or Khar West studio, the instruction is consistent. I do not believe in 'one size fits all.' Because these specialized sessions involve complex apparatus, I maintain a strict instructor-to-student ratio. You aren't just following a flow; you're getting hands-on tactile corrections—adjusting your pelvic tilt, squaring your shoulders, and ensuring the movement is coming from the core, not the neck or lower back. If you are here for rehab or just want to level up your strength, this is where we do the detailed work.
