Teen CrossFit Training and Strength Development
We don't believe in shortcuts. At Once More CrossFit, we teach teens the fundamentals of movement, building real strength and confidence, one session at a time.
This is what building real strength looks like. Here, one of our teen athletes completes a new personal record deadlift at 82kg. We focus on building to these moments safely and progressively, and the pride in this achievement is what it's all about.
Getting your first handstand is a huge milestone. I work closely with each young athlete to break down the movement, build their confidence, and help them overcome the fear of being upside down. This is how we build trust and body awareness.
Technique is everything, especially with complex Olympic lifts like the split jerk. In this clip, I am explaining the finer points of the movement, from grip to footwork, ensuring everyone understands the mechanics before adding weight. We move well, then we move more.
This is one of our amazing members, a mother of two and a coach herself, who trained with us through her pregnancy. Her journey is a testament to the fact that strength has no age or gender, and it shows the supportive environment we cultivate for everyone.
Our teen classes are a group effort. Here, you can see our young athletes practicing the snatch together, learning from each other and building camaraderie. We ensure everyone moves at their own pace while being part of a motivating team.
I believe in direct and honest feedback because it's the fastest path to improvement. Here, I'm correcting an athlete's deadlift setup to ensure they are fully engaged and present in the lift. Proper form is non-negotiable.
This is our home. Once More CrossFit is a spacious, fully equipped facility designed to be a safe and motivating environment where young athletes can discover their potential.
About Featured
We don't throw teens into the deep end here. Every session begins with mastering movement mechanics before we even think about adding heavy weight. Whether it is a student's first deadlift or a gymnastics progression like a handstand, we focus on safe, steady, and progressive learning so they can build genuine capability rather than just mimicking movements.
Building an athlete takes patience. We run structured, coach-led cycles—like our 4-week deadlift blocks—where the goal is perfect form, not a quick PR. Our programming covers the full spectrum: Olympic weightlifting, bodyweight gymnastics, and cardio conditioning. Because we operate out of a raw, industrial warehouse, there are no distractions. It is just the equipment, the coach, and the work.
Safety is non-negotiable. I keep my cues simple to avoid overwhelming the athletes. We move well first, then we move more. For teens, this structure creates a disciplined environment that carries over into their daily lives. They learn that showing up, putting in the effort, and trusting the process are what yield results, not shortcuts.
Our teen batches are scheduled for late afternoons to accommodate school and college timings. Every new member begins with two mandatory On-Ramp sessions. This ensures everyone understands the safety mechanics and the 'why' behind our methods before they join the group classes. We keep the supervision ratio tight, roughly one coach for every ten students, so no one gets lost in the crowd. Whether you are aiming for your first pull-up or training for a sport, this is where you build the foundation.
