CrossFit Kids and Youth Fitness Programs
We don't just watch kids exercise. We build athletes. Through a mix of functional movement, gymnastics, and combat drills, we teach kids to get off screens and get strong, the Namma way.
Meet Nayomi and Navya, two of our strong young athletes. I believe in empowering kids to understand their own strength, and it's amazing to hear them talk about hitting a 50kg deadlift and the confidence they get from training with friends. This is what it's all about: building capability and busting myths about youth fitness.
This is what safe and effective youth weightlifting looks like. I focus on teaching perfect form from day one, as you can see with this young athlete executing a clean and jerk. We build a strong foundation, ensuring every child learns to move correctly and confidently before adding weight.
It all starts with the basics. Here, one of our youngest members is learning the fundamentals of a bodyweight squat. My coaching philosophy is to make fitness fun and accessible at any age, focusing on proper movement patterns that will serve them for life. You can hear me coaching to keep his heels down, a key detail for a safe and effective squat.
I make sure fitness is a game, not a chore. This video shows our youngest group engaged in fun, dynamic drills using cones and open space. They are learning agility, coordination, and teamwork while running, jumping, and playing together.
As kids grow, so does their training. Here, you can see one of our teen athletes working alongside an adult, performing a synchronized set of dumbbell presses and jumps. This demonstrates the progression in our program, where older kids tackle more advanced functional fitness workouts.
Our program isn't just about lifting. I also teach combat sports like MMA to instill discipline and confidence. This clip shows a young athlete practicing her boxing combinations with a coach, learning striking skills in a safe, controlled, and high energy environment.

Forget about heavy lifting myths. Here, we start with PVC pipes and bodyweight movements. Your child won't touch a barbell until they have mastered the mechanics of a squat and a deadlift. We prioritise form over everything else, ensuring they build a foundation that prevents injury and lasts a lifetime.
Our Approach: Not Just Muscles
We believe fitness is a skill, not a chore. Our CrossFit Kids program is built on the same principles of progressive overload and consistency we apply to our adult athletes, but tailored specifically for growing bodies.
The Curriculum
- Weightlifting Mastery: We start with mobility and mechanics. Before any child touches a loaded barbell, they drill technique with PVC pipes until movement patterns are automatic.
- Functional Gymnastics: Developing body control is critical. Kids work on ring dips, pull-ups, and handstands to build strength using their own body weight.
- Agility & Combat: We introduce basic boxing stances and ladder drills. It builds coordination, discipline, and mental toughness that transfers into every other aspect of their lives.
The 'Namma' Difference
This is a digital-detox zone. When your child steps onto the floor, screens are off. They are here to learn, work, and compete with their peers. Our batches are segregated by age to ensure the intensity level is appropriate, and our coach-to-student ratio is kept tight to ensure constant supervision and form correction. Whether it is our 5-week seasonal bootcamp or the full quarterly CrossFit program, we teach them how to win, how to lose, and how to push through the boring, repetitive work that actually leads to results. We train in industrial warehouse settings with high-quality, kid-safe equipment, keeping the environment raw, energetic, and focused.
