Physical power means little without mental control. We teach yoga and pranayama as tools to keep students calm, focused, and resilient under pressure.

We start or end many of our sessions with pranayama and meditation. This practice increases lung capacity, boosts immunity, and most importantly, builds a calm and sharp mind.

Happy International Yoga Day. A student demonstrates a perfect wheel pose (Chakrasana), showing the flexibility and strength that yoga builds. Yoga is an integral part of our training.

A young student finds his balance in tree pose (Vrikshasana). Yoga helps kids develop balance, concentration, and a deeper connection with their bodies.

This student shows great strength and balance in a deep squat pose. Yoga is not just about flexibility; it builds a strong and stable foundation.

A student practices the cobra pose (Bhujangasana), which helps improve posture and spinal flexibility. We incorporate these asanas to keep our students' bodies healthy and mobile.

A demonstration of incredible strength and balance with a handstand. Yoga and calisthenics are part of our program to build complete body control.

Another student practicing the wheel pose. This posture requires strength in the arms, legs, and back, making it a great full-body exercise.

About Mind & Body: Yoga & Meditation

I don't teach yoga just for flexibility. We use pranayama (breath work) and specific asanas as a tactical tool to manage adrenaline during sparring and to recover faster from hard conditioning sessions. It is about learning to stay calm when the pressure is on, both on the mats and in your daily life.

Why Yoga Matters for Martial Arts

Many people think yoga is just about stretching. In my academy, it is part of the foundation. Whether you are practicing Boxing, Muay Thai, or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, your body needs to be able to handle stress.

The 'Yoga Se Hi Hoga' Philosophy

We believe Yoga se hi hoga (it will happen through Yoga). When a student learns to control their breath, they learn to control their heart rate. That is the difference between panicking in a match and staying sharp. We integrate:

  • Pranayama: We start or end sessions with breath work to boost immunity, lung capacity, and concentration.
  • Asanas for Strength: We use poses like Chakrasana (wheel pose) and Bhujangasana (cobra pose) not just for flexibility, but to build spinal strength and postural health. These are essential for kids who spend hours hunched over books.
  • Balance and Focus: Poses like Vrikshasana (tree pose) teach kids to find their center. If you cannot balance your body, you cannot balance your mind.

Building Resilient Kids

This is not a spa environment. We are building mental toughness. I teach my students that whether they are facing a bully, a tough exam, or a difficult sparring partner, the technique remains the same: breathe, focus, and hold your ground. We keep the batches small, around 8 to 15 kids, so I can ensure every student is doing the movements with correct form. If you want your child to develop physical strength along with a calm, focused mind, this is the place.

I’m not a standard yoga teacher. I’ve trained in tough conditions and on ships, and I know that mental strength is just as critical as physical power. I teach yoga to my students because it is the bridge between having a strong punch and having a calm, focused head.
