If you are feeling stiff, stressed, or need a safe way to move again, our therapy-focused restorative and Yin yoga classes are here to help. Using supportive props like bolsters, blocks, and wall ropes, we create a calm space where your body can release pain and your mind can finally settle.

This video shows how we transform pain into strength through yoga therapy. You can see students using props for gentle movements and supported poses, which is the foundation of our healing-focused classes.

In yoga, age is just a number. Our therapy batches are designed for everyone, using props to support the body in restorative poses that promote healing and relaxation, regardless of your age or fitness level.

A student practices Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) while in a supported reclining pose. This combination of pranayama and restorative yoga is incredibly effective for calming the mind and balancing the body's energy.

Students relax in a supported Supta Baddha Konasana (Reclining Bound Angle Pose). Using bolsters and straps allows the body to fully release, opening the hips and chest gently to relieve stress.

This student is in a supported reclining pose, ideal for seniors or anyone with joint stiffness. The props ensure the body is completely comfortable, allowing for deep rest and rejuvenation.

Here, a student uses multiple blocks and a bolster for a supported reclining pranayama practice. This setup elevates the chest, making it easier to breathe deeply and calm the nervous system.

A glimpse into our special Independence Day Yin Yoga session. We used this gentle practice to guide students toward inner freedom from stress, holding poses to release deep-seated tension.

Our weekend wellness batches are all about rest and recovery. This video shows students in various supported poses, using chairs and bolsters to gently open the body and calm the mind.

Join our therapy batch to experience true relaxation. This clip shows students using props like straps and bolsters to support their bodies in gentle stretches, perfect for injury recovery and stress relief.

Feel the peace within. This video captures the quiet, meditative atmosphere of our Yin Yoga class, where students hold poses for several minutes to target the body's deep connective tissues.

About Restorative & Yin Yoga: Heal and Recharge

Yoga is not just about bending your body into shape; sometimes, it is about learning to hold still. In our Yin and restorative sessions, we use bolsters, blocks, and wall ropes to support your weight entirely. This lets you release deep-seated tension in your hips and spine without the strain of active muscle engagement. It is perfect if you are recovering from an injury or just need to reset a nervous system that has been running on overdrive.

Understanding Restorative and Yin Yoga

Many people avoid yoga because they think it requires flexibility or strength they do not currently have. Our therapy-led approach flips this idea on its head.

Why We Use Props

We believe props are not a sign of weakness, but a tool for accessibility. Whether you are dealing with a frozen shoulder, lower back stiffness, or general joint pain, props allow you to hold a pose for longer periods—3 to 5 minutes—without discomfort.

  • Wall Ropes: Essential for spinal traction and decompressing the back.
  • Bolsters and Blocks: Elevate the chest and pelvis to create space, making breathing easier and poses more effective.
  • Straps: Help you extend your reach without straining your joints.

Benefits Beyond the Physical

While the primary focus of this cluster is recovery, the mental shifts are profound. By holding poses in stillness, we switch the body from the 'fight or flight' stress response to 'rest and digest' mode. This is why many of our students report better sleep and a significant drop in anxiety after just a few sessions.

Is This Right for You?

This practice is gentle and is specifically designed for:

  • Injury Recovery: Those looking for a safe, supervised way to get moving after medical clearance.
  • Chronic Pain Management: Individuals struggling with back, neck, or shoulder pain.
  • High-Stress Professionals: Anyone who spends long hours at a desk and needs to counteract the resulting tightness.

We do not push for extreme poses. We focus on alignment, breath, and giving your body the support it needs to heal itself.
