The seated box jump is a pure test of explosive power. It teaches you to generate maximum force from a dead stop, which is crucial for athletic movements.

Box jumps are a staple in our program for developing vertical power and explosive leg drive. We focus on proper landing mechanics to ensure safety.

Hurdle drills are fantastic for improving agility, coordination, and foot speed. We incorporate these into our warm ups and conditioning sessions.

We do not just jump for the sake of it. In these sessions, we focus on the physics of movement: how to generate force from a dead stop and, more importantly, how to land safely. Whether we are doing seated box jumps, hurdles, or explosive throws, the goal is to teach your body to move with precision so you can handle high-intensity work without injury.

Our Approach to Speed and Power

  • Mechanics First: Before we add intensity, we drill the fundamentals. You need to know how to absorb force through your legs and core before you can generate it. This is why we start with foundational bodyweight plyometrics.
  • Dynamic Variety: From outdoor sprinting on the track and stadium stair runs to loaded box jumps and agility ladder work, we constantly change the stimulus. This keeps your training effective and prevents your body from hitting a plateau.
  • Safety & Longevity: High-impact training puts stress on the joints. We pair our explosive work with specific active recovery routines, teaching you how to move dynamically while keeping your body resilient and injury-free.
