We don’t believe in generic fitness routines. We build explosive power, raw speed, and field readiness for athletes and individuals who want to train like them.

This is what building functional power looks like. We use tools like the sled for pushes and pulls and incorporate loaded carries to develop conditioning and mental toughness for any sport.

Our training goes beyond the gym walls. We use outdoor spaces for plyometric drills like stadium stair runs and broad jumps to build real world speed, agility, and endurance.

Active recovery days are crucial, but they are never lazy. We use fun, competitive drills like these cone sprints to keep the body moving, improve agility, and aid recovery.

Mobility is a key part of our program. Here, the group works through a series of dynamic stretches and mobility drills to improve flexibility, prevent injuries, and ensure long term health.

Sunday morning outdoor sprint session. Building explosive speed is a fundamental part of athletic development, and we train for it with focused, high intensity efforts.

This session focuses on plyometric training with hurdle jumps. These drills are essential for improving an athlete's vertical leap and explosive power off the ground.

We test for explosive power through exercises like the vertical jump and medicine ball throws. This helps us measure progress and tailor training for maximum athletic output.

It's always you vs you. This drill, using boxes to ensure proper squat depth and explosive power, is about pushing your own limits.

A throwback to a box jump session. This plyometric exercise is a staple in our program for developing vertical power and explosive strength.

The seated box jump is an excellent exercise for developing rate of force development. It teaches athletes to generate maximum power from a dead stop, which is crucial in weightlifting and sprinting.

About Speed, Agility & Conditioning

We don’t just stay inside the four walls of the gym. Every Sunday, we head out to nearby stadiums for high intensity track sessions, sprints, and stadium stair runs. This is where we build the kind of real world speed and endurance you simply cannot replicate on a treadmill. It is raw, it is outdoors, and it is designed to push your athletic ceiling.

True athleticism is about more than just moving weight. It is about how fast you can apply that strength when it matters. At Barbellhouse, our speed and agility sessions are built on the same foundations I used in my own competitive weightlifting career. We focus on movement mechanics, rate of force development, and explosive power.

We utilize a variety of tools in our 5,000 sq. ft. RR Nagar facility to ensure no two sessions are the same. You will work with sleds for resistance pushes, plyometric boxes for jump training, and agility ladders to sharpen your reaction time. Whether you are a competitive athlete in sports like cricket or badminton, or someone who just wants to move better and feel more capable in daily life, we provide the stimulus you need.

We also prioritize injury prevention. We don't just run and jump blindly. We incorporate active mobility drills and dynamic stretching because staying healthy is the only way to stay consistent.
