Olympic Lifting Technique Coaching
Master the snatch and clean & jerk with a competitive weightlifter. It is not just about the weight on the bar; it is about the technique, the focus, and the fight against yourself.
This is the level of explosive power we build. Here, I am executing a clean and jerk, a fundamental Olympic lift that develops total body strength and coordination. Every lift is a test of will.
A moment from the state weightlifting championships, showing the clean and jerk lift in action. This is where all the hours of training are put to the ultimate test on the competition platform.
This single leg overhead squat with a snatch grip is an advanced drill we use to build exceptional stability, balance, and shoulder strength, all critical for improving the snatch.
A compilation of my own training, focusing on the key lifts. You can see the snatch, deadlift, bench press, and plyometric work that form the foundation of my strength and power.
A video recap of my performance at the 2023 state championships. It's not just about winning medals, but about giving your absolute best on the platform every time.
About Olympic Lifting Technique
At Barbellhouse, we strip everything down to the basics. Before you touch a heavy barbell, we work with PVC pipes and lightweight technique bars to lock in your biomechanics. You will not find ego lifting here. We track every squat and press, ensuring your form holds steady under tension, because that is where the real power is built.
In Olympic weightlifting, technique is everything. A snatch is not just a lift; it is a display of precision, speed, and mobility. At Barbellhouse, I teach the mechanics I use on the competition platform.
Foundations First
We do not rush you to heavy weights. We start with technical precision, using PVC pipes and 5kg or 10kg technique bars. If your setup is wrong, your lift will fail. We fix your hinge, your pull, and your receiving position before you add a single plate.
The Lift Breakdown
We break the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk into specific phases. You will learn the first pull, the transition, the explosive second pull, and the catch. By isolating these movements, we identify exactly where your power leaks and correct it immediately.
Competition Standards
Whether you want to compete at the state level or just want to move like an athlete, we train to competition standards. We use high-quality Indian-made Bullrock bars and bumper plates, giving you the feel of a real platform.
Training at RR Nagar
We do not do AC, mirrors, or flashy gym culture. We do warehouse-style training. It is raw, it is loud, and it is focused on output. If you are ready to learn the craft properly and put in the work, you are in the right place.
Barbellhouse
I started my weightlifting journey at 22, so I know exactly how hard it is to learn these complex movements from scratch. I bring that same discipline to every session, making sure your form is solid before we ever add significant load.
