Agility, Speed & Play Programs for Kids
Forget boring workouts. We turn fitness into a game that gets kids moving, builds real-world coordination, and sets them up for a lifetime of activity. At Namma, we train kids to be athletes, not just spectators.
I make sure fitness is a game, not a chore. This video shows our youngest group engaged in fun, dynamic drills using cones and open space. They are learning agility, coordination, and teamwork while running, jumping, and playing together.
This is our Thursday Hustle. We incorporate track and field drills to build explosive power and agility. You can see the entire group working on their footwork and coordination, a key part of developing overall athleticism.
Nothing gets the energy up like some good music and dynamic movement. Here, the group is doing a series of jumps and agility drills. It's a fun, high-energy way to improve cardiovascular fitness and coordination.
We use a variety of equipment to keep things interesting and challenging. In this clip, you can see our young members building upper body and core strength on the gymnastic rings. It's a playful way to develop serious functional fitness skills.
About Agility, Speed & Play
Fitness is not just about the sweat. In our sessions, we focus on movement literacy by teaching kids how to jump, land, run, and coordinate their bodies safely. We use cone drills, ladder work, and gymnastic rings to make sure they develop functional strength and spatial awareness, completely screen-free.
Why Agility Matters for Kids
Most kids spend too much time sitting. We change that. Our Agility, Speed & Play sessions are designed to break the cycle of sedentary habits. By using track and field drills alongside functional fitness, we teach children how to control their bodies, improve their posture, and build explosive power. It’s not just about getting tired; it’s about getting better.
The Namma Approach
We don't believe in 'kiddie' workouts that are all play and no substance. Whether we are in our Vasanth Nagar, Hoodi, Jayanagar, or RMV centers, the standard remains the same. We use age-appropriate methods to introduce concepts like progressive overload in a safe, scalable way.
- Movement Mechanics: We master the basics of running, jumping, and landing before anything else. Proper form prevents injuries later in life.
- Motor Skill Development: Coordination is a perishable skill. We keep it sharp with ladder drills and agility games.
- Functional Strength: Using bodyweight calisthenics and gymnastic rings, we build a foundation that supports their growth.
More Than Just a Gym
When your child joins Namma, they join a crew. They learn to cheer for each other, handle wins and losses with grace, and understand that consistency beats talent every single time. We keep the phone-free zone strictly enforced during training to ensure they are fully present. If you want your child to build mental toughness, discipline, and actual physical capability, this is where they belong.
