Cali Cubs: Functional Fitness & Calisthenics for Kids
Tired of kids glued to screens? Our Cali Cubs program trades gadgets for obstacle courses, calisthenics, and parkour basics to build real, functional strength through play in Namma Bengaluru.
Our summer camp for kids is back. We offer a range of activities from calisthenics and animal flow to wall climbing and parkour, all designed to make fitness fun and build a strong foundation.
Starting them young. Kids naturally love to move, and our programs channel that energy into building foundational skills like grip strength and body awareness on the gymnastics rings.
Kids have a powerful neuromuscular superpower. Their brains and bodies are wired to learn movement patterns quickly, making childhood the perfect time to start with disciplines like gymnastics and calisthenics.
One of the best things about kids is their fearless approach to movement. They fall, they get up, and they try again without ego. Our programs encourage this playful exploration to build strength and resilience.

Even our youngest members are learning the fundamentals. This little one is already practicing her dips on the parallettes, building strength and coordination.

We had the honor of celebrating International Yoga Day by training with these young cubs. We believe in building a real community and making a difference, one backbend at a time.
Forget run clubs, train some cubs. Our Saturday morning routine includes training with local kids, helping them build fitness skills and confidence. This is what building a real community looks like.

About Cali Cubs: Fitness for the Next Generation
We do not do boring sets or mindless cardio. Whether it is mastering gymnastics rings or navigating our custom Ninja Warrior course, our sessions are built around play, helping kids naturally develop grip strength, body awareness, and the confidence to handle their own weight. It is not just a workout; it is physical literacy for the long run.
Childhood is the perfect window for movement development. Kids have a unique neuromuscular ability to learn patterns quickly, and our program taps into that by making the gym a playground. We focus on 'Cali genetics'—building a foundation that lasts.
The Cali Cubs Approach
We keep the vibe chill but the instruction strict when it comes to safety. Our sessions include:
- Obstacle Navigation: Parkour and Ninja Warrior drills that teach kids how to move through space, manage falls, and climb effectively.
- Calisthenics Fundamentals: Learning proper form on rings, parallettes, and bars. We teach the basics of body control, not just 'exercising'.
- Small Coaching Ratios: With a 1:8 coach-to-student ratio, every cub gets the attention they need to learn techniques without the risk of injury.
We train them to use their bodies the way they were meant to be used. Whether it is our 4-week summer camps or regular weekend batches in Koramangala, the goal is the same: to get them off the couch and excited to move. It is about building discipline, but we promise there is plenty of high-fiving and fun along the way.

I am Aslam and Muzzeta, and we started Cali OG to shake up the gym scene in Bengaluru. We do not just train adults; we want the next generation to be bulletproof too. Watching the cubs get strong and confident in our space is the best part of our week.
