In-Person Yoga Workshops & Studio Classes
Experience the energy of a live yoga practice. Join me in Bengaluru and Mumbai for studio sessions where we move, breathe, and grow as a community.
Here is a little POV of our Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series workshop. This dynamic sequence is a powerful way to build heat, strength, and focus. The energy of practicing this challenging series as a group is incredible.
It’s so amazing to see our online yogis meet and vibe at an offline workshop. We build such a strong community on Zoom, and getting to practice together in person just takes that connection to the next level.
This is a glimpse from an offline asana workshop, focusing on the drop-back to Kapotasana. The big mirror and the shared energy of the practitioners really help in refining such deep backbends.
About In-Person Classes & Workshops
When we practice in person, I can offer hands-on adjustments that simply aren't possible over a screen. Whether it is safely spotting a headstand or gently correcting your hip alignment during a deep backbend, these physical cues help you go deeper into your practice and build confidence in your alignment far faster than you might on your own.
Why Practice In-Person?
While online classes offer convenience, there is a different kind of magic that happens when we are all in the same room. I host regular in-person workshops across Bengaluru and at the Chakra Project in Mumbai, specifically designed to foster a sense of community that screen-based classes sometimes miss.
What to Expect in the Studio
My studio sessions are not about perfection; they are about presence. We focus on:
- Tactile Adjustments: I move around the room to provide hands-on corrections. This is crucial for beginners learning how to engage the right muscles and for advanced practitioners looking to refine their peak poses like Kapotasana.
- Safe Spotting: Inversions and arm balances can be intimidating. I provide physical spotting to ensure you can explore these challenging asanas safely, building the strength needed to eventually do them unassisted.
- Community Energy: There is a collective 'vibe' when everyone is breathing and moving in sync. It pushes you to stay focused, and it is a great way to meet fellow practitioners who share your interest in yoga philosophy and ashtanga vinyasa.
Finding the Right Session
Whether you are looking to fix a persistent desk-job ache, learn the basics of Ashtanga Vinyasa, or just want to experience the intensity of a group flow, these workshops are open to all levels. I keep my batch sizes moderate, usually between 10 to 20 participants, so that I can genuinely engage with each person. We use props like blocks and straps to make these sessions accessible, ensuring that nobody gets left behind.
Check the upcoming schedule for workshops near you. If you have a specific injury or a goal—like working on your backbends or building inversion strength—let me know before the session so I can prepare the right variations for you.
